Modern au and ogCale is that one rich friend. Case in point, all his friends somehow end up being in jail. Some more than once. And he is that friend that just comes and bails them out.
Rok Soo in jail cause he kidnapped someone's pet? Call Cale.
Choi Han in jail cause he beat up someone? Call Cale.
Taylor in jail for forging something? Call Cale.
Cage in jail for public drinking or tax evasion? Call Cale.
Archie in jail for speeding? Call Cale.
Hans in jail cause he was at the wrong place at the wrong time? Call Cale.
Rosalyn in jail cause she was caught purchasing illegal stuff for her experiments? Call Cale.
At this point Cale knows everyone in the police station. At one point he just thinks his friends like to go to jail. At some point he stopped questioning why the are in jail at all.
One time he is the one in jail because of being near a murder scene. He did not do shit, but it's protocol and all. He doesn't call anyone, he's just chilling while playing cards with the guards or smth. Than the next moment chaos ensues cause instead bailing him out with money his friends decided to break him out of jail.
Later he's the one paying for the mass destruction.
