In a recent initiation I discovered my spontaneous intuition is my oldest and most primal wisdom.🦉 . It can not be read in books, nor taught in schools.🦉 . It’s a deeply feminine feeling of survival instinct, and innate knowing🦉 . A sustained energy pulses in my primal centre.🦉 . It only works in the now and its voice is subtle.🦉 . Staying healthy is of upmost importance to keep my senses sharp.🦉 . I can read the trees, the flowers, animals and bees. They determine a direction, my next steps. I ask them questions...and almost always receive an answer.🦉 . “The wisdom you seek is inside of you....” . . Take a moment to feel those words... during my up-bringing my dad and our community were following a guru named maharajah aka #premrawat ~ I used to hear the words echoing through the house in this strange Indian / American voice “What you are looking for is within you” - we used to say, are you going to listen to that man with the funny voice again? I remember our parents listening to him for hours, talking of peace, love, kindness and simplicity.... Now as a grown woman, i know these words had a subliminal effect, sinking into my cells, and encoding my dnd.... it’s taken many years of self inquiry and many more of learning the hard way to remember that what we seek, lies within. It’s the ego that wants to clutch and grab and attain for validation and control. Perhaps this is part of the great cosmic joke that we must travel our whole life only to come home to the truth of what lays in the depth of our own beings. This light. This divinity. This magic. What an incredible way to open @byronspiritfest with a 5Elements Dance Activation💫 🦋⚡️And an impromptu one, with silent disco headphones at that! 🎧 This year, I felt called to take a rest, however spirit had another plan. The lovely Geash from 5Rhythms came down with a horrible flu, so due to the fact I am music guardian for the space, naturally I was invited to hold the space.... Something magic happens when we get thrown into the deep end, it’s sink or swim. I’m guilty of getting too cerebral about my workshops at times where I think to much. Reflecting, the best offerings I have done are ones where I have let go of the branches and surrendered to the current. I had moments of full body goosebumps, and eyes welling with tears, I felt held by my angles, seen and unseen, I felt the devotion to higher power and in complete honour and reverence to deliver thr modality as it was channeled by my teacher @malaika.darville from #inmyelements - in fact it was exactly a year ago I was starting my journey on #elementalawakening in Bali...
