Thinking about it Doug is incredibly lucky Leon never found out that Doug once tried to kill Venti, as in 'Actively drew a sword on her'. Bc yes being a spy for the Sechs Empire is big but Leon was the FIRST to sacrifice himself by becoming a Guardian for Venti. At that time, they didn't even have any real proof that it would work, just vague hope. Imagine how much he must have cared about her to take that risk.
Dolce would just go even colder, maybe even ignoring him, and Pico would be like "Yeah for once she actually is acting how she's thinking". Dylas would punch Doug, which is just Tuesday. Amber would cry.
Leon would, however, actively be plotting murder. Even if he went 'okay fine I guess he's changed' that would not prevent him from scaring Doug by *pretending* to plot his murder. Which... Idk, psychological torment is almost worse-
