I finally watched all Terminator movies. The Dark Fate was the only one that I did have not seen earlier, so I saved it for the last. Now I finally saw it, and I liked the guy who they choose to for the role of Rev9. He looked handsome and he did fit nicely as a terminator.
But mostly the movie recycled the old plots (with plots holes) and with some new characters who were hard to like. It did not give me new materials to use in my Terminator's Ai Dungeon games.
And here is what I learned from the movie.
Terminator, T-101/ "Carl"
-After the T-101 finished the Skynet's/Legion's mission, the T-101 got unemployed (and did stuck from that time). During that time the T-101 developed conscience (but not feelings(?)), and married a woman who had an abusive husband and son (and woman does not know that "Carl"/T-101 is a machine).
-They have been married over (20) years? Their relationship is not physical, and the woman thinks T-101 is funny and a good listener. T-101 provides for its family by selling curtains. T-101 does not love its wife as a human would. T-101 had a progressive and open-minded dog who doesn't discriminate against terminators (unlike other dogs).
Oh, you foolish tricked T-101...I think that the woman is just using the T-101 as her slave.
A human woman with a super cyber body. Grace is rude, but still has feelings! Her mission is to protect the main character, and Grace is beating violently normal men just because they happen to be in her way (even that she is from the future where humans try to survive and she fights against the machines).
-The new terminator is a bit like a combination of T-800 and T-1000, but the slimmer body and darker tone in metal. The head reminds a bit of T-800's head what would have squeezed and stretched (otherwise Rev9 would look too handsome?).
-the robot gets to its feet like a strange dancer.
