Ngl I kinda wish oppy would've been last to be done for the voice design ask game but alas

Okay, okay, fine, fine. I'll be somewhat nice to this rat bastard. Roppy also known as Poncho for his, well, poncho.

I think the best part of Roppy is his poncho, hands down. I've only drawn the feather poncho in detail once and I remember having a fun time texturing it.

If I were to draw the whole thing that might be a pain in the ass, but that small section I did draw was fun. Very fun actually and I still like it now

As for another fun detail his plumes have just gotten progressively longer over time and it's so funny to watch

I’d like to add Cheated is full allergic and can’t have any types of nuts, also pollen and hay spring is a night mare to him

I want to say what you heard is hearsay. They're putting the blame all on me, you have to believe me it was @pink-november despite what everyone else will say

BUT this is still very cute and must be shared with the world. Poor Cheated having so many allergies ;-;

Alrighty then, lets go again. This is Rero. Yup he also doesn't have a nickname, but Rero isn't that bad honestly. So Rero.

Rero is many things but if I had to sum him up, easy in concept, hard in execution. You know my old voice lineup, you know the one that had them be silhouettes? You wanna know something? I drew that for hero first before I actually flushed out the rest of his details.

Everyone else was fully conceptualized with actual concept art and doodles beforeee working on their silhouettes. I just did hero backwards for some reason.

Initially Hero's feather is meant to resemble armor, very loosely speaking. His head is meant to look like a long helmet with that signature hero plume, wide shoulder fluff, and the bases/skirt.

As for his tail it's based off of birds that have really long tails. Like this scissor-tailed flycatcher

I'll admit I have a thing for long tails/feathers/hair/anything else on a character that can flow freely

Anyways, current hero has been boiled down to simplify his shapes and other such elements. I think the biggest thing is that his shoulder pads were toned down and his plumes are less curvy.

Since he technically counts as another a "rero" so say hi to "wasteland" rero. If I were to put a Hero the sexyman tourney it'd be wasteland rero. I'm sorry normal hero you're just too baby. Like in this baby photo.

But thank you very kindly for the uh, third ask in this specific ask game. I'm sure they appreciate the extra love.

Okay, who left two Colds unsupervised?

Well, at least they got their crown back. Might want to clean it off first...we're talking about Cold he's not getting those off unless someone does it for him

I'm sorry platonic partner nobody asked for him yettttt, but you just did!

Being another one of my runt's without an official nickname, and is currently away on an adventure, it's Ritten!

I think for Ritten there's not any one detail that really stands out there but I'll list them anyways

Ritten's plumes are just really elongated hearts

He has two heart tails in reference to Quiet and the Princess. His burned grey version has one of them constantly on fire and the other is in a state of not quite existing, much like the Princess and Quiet post catching fire

While his eyes are often closed, his pupils are blown out/dilated

He's got a bit of floof on his butt. Yeah that's about it, you can think of it like a penguins really short tail and that's the inspo behind it

And just for a fun little easter egg I have a tendency to associate Smitten with a willow tree just because of how his tail(s) look in his hea form

And thus, the other half of faltering smiles has been requested. Who am I to say no? OF COURSE I WOULDN'T SAY NO.

S'more did go through a makeover since his initial concept, but his vibes have more or less stayed the same. But much like Cold I felt like there wasn't much, if anything, I could mention I hadn't before.

Broken is meant to look very cozy with his "feathers" with their appearance reminiscent of a robe and scarf.

And the reason why his legs don't have the scale pattern and instead look like scars is because of roomofstillness' Broken design. I just really adore that detail on their broken and wanted it on mine.

His head/plumes are ruffled and generally unkempt. I'm sure we can all think of a few reasons as to why

Okay, I may have lied a little bit. There is one thing that's been a part of his design since the start.

The scarf is still his tail at the end of the day, so you really shouldn't pull on it. There's no guarantee it'll unravel.

Also when he's colored he looks like a purple mage and I think that's funny. He gets to be shown off bc I've technically done a drawing with him colored

And thus, just like my art, answering these asks are very slow going.

Well whatever, this is Cheated. Not Reated, bc I do not like the sound of Reated but he doesn't have a nickname so oh well. Here's Reated.

Out of everyone I think Cheated has the least amount of fun design details I can point out. He just kind of...happened to end up like this? Here's his ugly baby pictures and you can see how we just suddenly changed gears for no reason

Also ew, a runt with wings. That's illegal.

He just suddenly became poofy and his plumes were always their weird shape. Maybe not as triangular as they ended up being but still oddly long. I guess I did almost fall into the common design choice of making one of Cheated's eyes bad/nonexistent. Now they're just lines

At some point (I could not tell you when this happened) he was given that patchwork look on his arms and legs along with solidifying his messed up tail feathers

I will say I have started to change his head shape from being strictly a square like everyone else (minus para)

I think it just fits the rest of his fluff and general round shape better
