Dragon Age Fandom resolutions
Wow, already? Time went fast this month. Let’s see how I did this month.
Write at least 5000 words a month for a DA fic (Keeping track with the sprint bot and a Google docs sheet)
Well, shit, 17.332 words. This month was good with me. I got to write a lot and I didn’t even forced myself to do it. I’m glad I find the time to sneak some writing between work and family life.
Publish at least 1 DA work once at every three months. (Ao3/Tumblr will be the whiteness)
I wrote 10 short stories this month, all of them for #storiesofthedas prompt list from Twitter. I had a lot of fun and I got more feedback than I expected. Plus, the people on Twitter actually spoke to me about the stories after reading them??? This never happened to me until now so wow, I am really grateful and amazed.
Read at least one DA new fic/new chapter a week:
I’ve read almost all the works for the #storiesofthedas, the three long stories I follow on AO3, the Satinalia exchange stories from BTV. I need to make a list with the things I read.
Read a full book once a month (if over 500 pages, a book at every 2 months)
The book I am reading now, Heir of Novron by Michael J. Sullivan has 924 pages. Currently. I have read 763. I think I will be done with it this weekend. Yay!
-Take a full break from any media at least once a month (the 10th of every month)
I completely forgot about this. I frolicked around the net with no problems. I spoke on discord, wrote and published a short story. Welp. I feel like I will fail a lot to do this.
In conclusion I did much more than I expected in January. But this is just the first month of 2021, I’m so curious if in April it will go the same.
Thank you @hangedmandisc for this fun way to make resolutions!
