More dream art from 2018! This time, of a Pokemon game that doesn't exist called Pokemon X! This artwork was made in 2023, however.
Pokemon X was a hack-n'-slash game developed for the Nintendo GameCube. In it, you could pick from several playable Pokemon, and in my case, I was playing as Umbreon. The boss fights were all in these big circular arenas, and you faced off against new corrupted variants of Pokemon called "X Pokemon". I fought X Reshiram, a corrupted Reshiram that would shoot a powerful beam of crimson fire from its mouth.
Despite it being for the GameCube, some shots of the game looked more like PSP graphics due to them being low resolution.

7/18 There was a new type of Pokemon called X Pokemon that were like evil mutant versions of their former selves. There was a mutant Reshiram that was mostly a just a head with tentacles that shot giant fire at you in the circular arena you fought it in. You played as an umbreon, and had a real time battle system where you used R and L to dodge, and pressed four other buttons to attack. There was also a boss fight with a giant Gengar who'd use dark energy balls and dark fists at you. I was still the umbreon, but this time on the bottom of the screen it was listed that I had 6 moves instead of 4. There was also something about a Japanese game mascot who was this kid with a white and blue builders hat, and kind of look like they came from Doraemon, but they were from a different old, but popular series that originated from a comic. I saw part of a cutscene that was dubbed in UK English, but the dialogue sounded poorly translated. Also, something about Osamu Sato's music.
The title of the game and the detail of what console it was on + the description of the game's graphics is missing from the journal entry. I think the title and console detail may have been invented after the fact via adding context, but I do remember the game's weird occasionally low-res graphics being in the original dream.

XXII ███ ＂HMM, MAYBE ? I HOPE SO.＂ a contemplative answer as she strolls tandem with n further into the woods. that small clearing she had discovered following her partner absol( a twinned pair, her brother living abroad would have the other. linus his, orpheus her own. a shiny creature whose rouges seem to match the vibrant crimsons of minako's own hair & eyes. ) on their walk back home had held some interesting fauna & flora, not to mention quite the number of varied pokemon as any forest tends to. but what had truly intrigued her was the wild berries that had matured a swee before any other berries in the area. ripe & uncommon in this area too ! she'd plucked a few to bring back to show n before going right back out with a small basket--- her dear friend now in tow with her.
trotting as orpheus sniffs & digs to try & lead the two back to the clearing she can't help but smile softly half in thought, ＂i don't want to take too many. too many mouths in the area i'm sure will also want some. you don't see wild berries like this so deep in the woods. but i wanna be able to try to make a jam or two !＂ a pause, ＂maybe a jam & a syrup for tea ! oh that sounds way better ! whattaya think ?＂
