A preset for Paralives already? Yes, I know! I'm that crazy person who can't live without ReShade. Judge me all you want, I'm good. 😌

This one is inspired by the all time favorite preset "Sumahama" by @/Wilderbees — hence the name "Parahama". 🥺

Kanel - A Reshade Preset

I originally created this to use in my Ultimate Decades Save, but I feel it will go well for most gameplay. It's named kanel (/kan'eːl/) because of the brown tint to it. Like someone sprinkled cinnamon across your screen. Kanel being the Swedish word for cinnamon. I know, very creative. If you'd like a more neutral color, you can turn it off with Shift + F2. It comes with a slew of different hotkey'd shaders meant for screenshots (Shift + 1-6), but is other than that a pretty hans off preset. It runs well on my computer, but if the MXAO is too taxing that is also hotkey'd to be turned on/off with Shift + F1.

Good to know:

Created using Reshade 6.3.1.

You will need Gshade shaders like Mxao 4.0.2 for this to work, see link below. You could probably replace it with another MXAO shader if you'd like though, but result won't be the same.

This is a pretty good tutorial for installing Reshade + getting Gshade shaders

Please note that I use lightning mods, so your end result may look different. I currently use: Sunblind & Even Better In-Game Lightning (I use Bright).

A mini set of sims 3 reshade presets with glow, warmth and bloom.

VERY IMPORTANT: to get the most from this one you MUST follow this guide by pictureamobae.

hot keys: F9 - Quint adof

F8 - Cinematic DOF

F7- BloomAndLensFlare

F6- AmbientLight (or prod80_03_Shadows_Midtones_Highlights)

Note: these presets were made with reshade 6.2.0

these were created in windowed mode sims 3 fullscreen mode has a brightening mode/overlay so results may vary when using reshade and/or taking screenshots.

uses shaders: SMAA, MXAO, ADOF, Cinematic DOF, GAUSSIAN, Clarity, prod80_03_Shadows_Midtones_Highlights, AmbientLight, BloomAndLensFlare, AND Deband (not quint deband)
