Hey! I’m looking for a fic, I’m pretty sure it’s eighth year, or at least they’re all in Hogwarts as students, and Draco gets split into two parts, his “good side“ with no faults, and his “bad side”, who’s evil and has basically no redeeming qualities.
Harry thinks Draco’s being suspiciously perfect, and follows him to the library (or it could be the ROR, but I think it’s the library), where he follows Draco and a few teachers who are there to Malfoy Manor, where the bad version of Draco is being chained up and kept. Harry releases the bad version, not knowing he’s bad, and Harry and good-Draco have to find him at Hogwarts.
Harry confesses to good-Draco, but I distinctly remember him looking sad and saying something like “of course you like me, I’m literally perfect. You’re not going to like me when I’m put back together as one person again”
