ok now this will be hard to explain but it starts with shane mailing a letter to his old college roommate or friend named tim and ilya recieves it and from there they mail back and forth and also the letters are like clickable like u can open them and i distinctly remember in one of them shane is like i might as well say it to u and get it out but im gay something like that.

It was an au where Ilya lived with a retired Boston player for his rookie year and got to know his family. I think the retired player was russian too but I don't remember his name. It was still in progress when I last read it a few months ago and I really want to see if it got updated because it was really cute!
