At first, he’s caught completely off guard.

He’s used to being the one who explodes, so watching you snap is… startling. Your tone sharpens, your eyes flash, and for a moment he just stares, lips parted in surprise. Then, a slow smirk creeps in.

“Well damn… didn’t know you had that in you.”

If your anger’s directed at someone else, he’s almost proud—protective even. But if it’s at him, his expression drops, and he’ll step closer, voice lower, rough around the edges.

“Hey, sweetheart… I didn’t mean to piss you off that bad.”

He won’t argue. He’ll wait until you cool off, then pull you in and mutter something like, “Remind me never to get on your bad side again.”

OSAMU DAZAI

He’s… fascinated.

Like, he blinks once, twice—then breaks into that lazy grin.

“Oh? My little angel can yell?”

He’s absolutely going to tease you, even mid-rant, but under that teasing, he’s watching closely. If your anger comes from hurt or frustration, the humor fades and he steps in, quietly sincere for once.

“Hey, hey. Breathe. Talk to me.”

He’ll later joke that it was “terrifyingly adorable,” but you’ll notice he’s a little more careful with you after that—because Dazai doesn’t underestimate emotions he’s never seen before.

RYŪNOSUKE AKUTAGAWA

He goes dead silent.

Your anger catches him off guard because he’s used to being the storm, not facing one. He just stands there, cold expression masking confusion, but inside, his chest tightens.

If it’s not about him, he actually respects it.

“Hmph. So you do have a spine.”

If it is at him, he stiffens—then slowly lowers his gaze, guilt flickering.

“…I see. You have every right to be angry.”

He won’t defend himself. Later, he’ll quietly make it up to you with actions, not words.

DOPPO KUNIKIDA

Your outburst short-circuits him.

“Y/N—! Compose yourself!”

But the second he realizes you’re actually upset—not just yelling—his tone softens. He’ll close his notebook, take a deep breath, and stand beside you instead of lecturing.

“You’re right to be angry. Let’s fix this properly.”

He respects your passion; just… maybe not the volume.
