i wonder if part of the homeless to homeless drug addict pipeline and some of homelessness in general might be solved if landlords had to allow pets. how many people refuse to give up their pets and chance it on the streets instead? wonder how many times something bad happened and they felt like there wasn't anything else that'd make their lives bearable.
also rent control. shits too fucking high.
rental property inspections prior to renting out a place in every state not just some. people rent out houses and apartments that should be condemned way too often.
better laws in general regarding renter's rights. ac shouldn't be optional.
getting really tired of hearing right wingers bitch about homeless people existing when they don't help fix the situations that help cause it. "what happened to my neighborhood? where did all the nice people go?" oh idk, where did all the "nice" people go karen? last time i checked they were in a motel and have no idea how much longer they can afford that until they're living in the car again because the landlords priced them out of their homes and the addicts cooking meth are the only ones that can actually afford to live there now so now those are your neighbors. don't know what tf to tell ya.
