Hope is on the ballot paper

Owen Jones canvasses the option of hope in this election.

You have a stark choice at the 2017 general election: Theresa May's campaign of negativity or Jeremy Corbyn's positive vision for the future of this country. A choice between a Labour party that will invest in education, in the NHS and housing or five more years of Tory spending cuts. For the first time in a long time you can choose hope.

Labour is the best means to bring us out of austerity and to make sure our United Kingdom is towards a future for the whole, for our hopes.

To quote Jeremy Corbyn:

The British Labour Party is talking about renationalising the electricity grid. That might be acceptable if they are prepared to pay the full market value, but it appears that they are not. They are talking about various reasons why shareholders should not be fully compensated.
