95. Come cuddle.

When Remus came home, Sirius was sitting on the kitchen table, drinking. Looking at the dark circles under Sirius' eyes, Remus guessed Sirius didn't sleep for a few days.

"Hello, Remus." Sirius' expression was dark, almost like he hated Remus. And saying Remus instead of Moony meant something was definitely wrong.

"Hi, Pads, is everything alright?"

"You came home after two weeks and you are asking if everything is alright!?" yelled Sirius. He was holding the glass so tightly he had white knuckles. Remus knew the fight was about to get heated, Sirius was so angry.

"Sirius, listen to me and put the glass back on the table, you're gonna break it and cut your hands or something."

"Like you care Remus!"

"Of course I care, Sirius! What the hell are you talking about?"

"You care? You care, Remus?" He was looking with disbelief in his eyes, just like the time he looked at Regulus when he told Sirius his father is a good person.

"Sirius," Remus started his sentence but Sirius interrupted him.

"Stop coming home after two weeks with scars and bruises, Remus!" He was still angry but he spoke in a soft and calm voice, which made the situation very frightening. "Or are they hickeys?"

"No, Sirius, of course not!" He couldn't control his anger so he yelled. "I was on a misson fighting for our lives and you're implying that I was cheating on you!" He was shaking from anger.

"Remus, I just can't do this- waiting for your lover till he decides to show up thing!"

"I don't decide when I come home! If I had the chance, I would never leave the house and you know it, Sirius!"

"Then tell me about the missions! Tell me where the hell you have been, Remus!"

"Sirius, I can't." He lowered his head, didn't want to look at Sirius' perfect eyes. Because if he looked at those amazing gray eyes that Remus felt alive whenever he looked at them, Remus would tell everything about the missions and Dumbledore didn't let him talk about his missions.

"Remus, I hate you! You don't even explain anything to me! It's like I'm not your boyfriend!"

"Sirius, come cuddle me." Remus was smiling now, like the argument never happened.

"What? Remus I fucking said I hate you." Sirius was so confused, shouldn't he be angry?

"Come cuddle, do what I say." said Remus. Sirius didn't get why but he embraced Remus. He put his head on Remus' chest and he calmed down slowly.

Hugging Remus was always so good for Sirius, it made Sirius forget all of his pain all the time. When he was hugging Remus, nothing mattered. It was almost like the world stopped turning, all people stopped breathing and only Remus and Sirius were alive.

"You only say you hate someone when you're angry and you don't want to be angry at them. I watched you say this to Regulus a million times and then cried to me about wanting to hug him. You thought I'd believe you hate me?" He kissed Sirius' forehead and hugged even tighter than before.

"I will explain everything, Padfoot, but before that, I'm going to hug you and take all your pain away. It makes my pain go away too."

Sirius nodded. Remus raised his chin with his thumb and made Sirius look at him.

"Sirius?"

"Yes, Remus?"
