i wanted to share this message with those who adore the AdamsApple pairing but may be feeling down about the popularity of the couple.

please, please don’t feel inferior to any other couple! We have something truly special that others don’t! Lucifer and Adam (and even Eve) aren’t confined to the Hazbin Hotel universe. anyone can write a book, make a movie, develop a TV show, or create an animation that depicts Lucifer and Adam in a romantic relationship, and it wouldn’t have to be connected to Hazbin Hotel at all.

the only thing you could argue Hazbin Hotel might own is their designs—but even that’s debatable. in the Bible, Adam has brown hair (sometimes is green eyed or brown - like honey), while Lucifer is traditionally depicted as blonde, with blue eyes and pale skin as an angel, but has hooves, horns, red eyes and claws as the devil. so, there’s no reason to feel like their portrayal in other media is tied to Hazbin Hotel.

our version of Adam and Lucifer is unique, and there’s so much creative freedom to explore their relationship in new and exciting ways. let’s not let anything diminish the beauty of this pairing. whether in fan works or beyond, they’re ours to imagine and celebrate! because Lucifer and Adam are romantically tied either way!

i hope this makes sense? english is not my first language! either way, don't let other people get you down over shipping Lucifer and Adam! because they are more canon then you think! all our AU's and ideas of eden are canon because their story existed before hazbin hotel was even a thing!

i refuse to give into despair, because that’s exactly what the far right wants us to do. we can’t properly band together if we’re too busy having individual meltdowns. there’s a glimmer of hope yet; am clinging to it like a lifeline? no. i watched 2016 happen, and—unfortunately—it doesn’t surprise me that it’s happening again. we’ve seen all the conservative legislation that has been passed into law despite a democrat sitting in the oval office.

i will add that it frustrates me when people talk about fleeing the country. if all those with the means to move do actually move, what happens to those who can’t move? do we, their so-called “allies,” just leave them to suffer alone? i refuse to give up, even if trump wins. there’s always more that we can do. what i rest well in knowing is that—regardless of the results—trump will go down in history books as one of the worst u.s. presidents.

i've been rereading your fics a bit so i want to ask you what you look for in snz-related stories! like are there specific settings or writing styles you gravitate towards? of course no pressure to answer this if you don't want to and i'm sorry if it reads like a canvas discussion board post bc those are really all i write lmao

oh my gosh sometimes i forget that i posted those & get super embarrassed LOL

but to answer your question, i mainly look for wlw sneeze stories, especially if there’s nsfw parts of the fic. as a lesbian i want to read stories about other sapphics, especially in this kink space. i don’t think i gravitate towards a writing or setting style, but stories that have a combo of fluff, hurt/comfort, & caretaking is are the ones i tend to read the most. both as a writer & a reader i love hurt/comfort, all of my fics (vanilla ones LOL) that ive posted on ao3 have a little bit of a hurt/comfort aspect. i also look for lots of physical touch in the fics, so cuddles kisses, hugs, etc. physical touch is my love language (clearly) so it’s something i find comfort in & i tend to favor fics that have lots of descriptive sweet physical touch because it’s something i find very comforting. im not always the biggest sneeze fic reader because a lot of them are centered around men but if i find one i like & can connect with i’ll reread it all the time
