      I have never run a marathon but I have hosted many Thanksgiving dinners. Yesterday was the biggest Thanksgiving dinner I’ve ever hosted, 24 people. Like a marathon, T-day prep starts way before the actual day. The invites go out weeks in advance. The food purchases start the week before. The smaller details like who will bring the pies and extra chairs have to be covered ahead of time too.

My ISTJ husband: *unfolds to-do list* “First we need to...”

Me (INTP): *gets caught up in internal dialogue, realizes two minutes later he’s still talking* “What? I’m sorry. I forgot to listen.”

Do you ever have those times when you know somebody wants to say something to you but they don’t know whether they should,

  I may be reading to much into it but a friend of mine has been talking to me for the last while which is not unusual but it always seems they are talking around something they want to say.

  They know they shouldn’t say anything because it is not any of their business but they are struggling with not saying anything.

  I have no problem with people trying to stick up for someone or trying to make sure they have all the information you know.

  But Some people just go about it all wrong, I know they want to say something, I am not going to bring it up though since I just don’t care for the drama which is I think the reason they are actively trying to avoid saying anything, though now it is somewhat coming off as avoidance.

  I am sure I am partly to blame for this, In my avoidance of drama, I have been avoiding people who emit it the most.

  That seems mean I realise but I have been going through enough family drama that I don’t need drama surrounding my new and nice relationship status.

  I have had my freak outs about it since it’s been a while and I have no idea how to function in relationships sometimes.

  So far it has been nice to enjoy it without the Drama Llama brigade putting their 2 cents in,

  Though to be fair so people know and they all seem to be taking it well enough to not say anything.
