All romantic pairings (het/slash/other; twosome/threesome/moresome), platonic pairings (with friends/family) and non-pairings (Makoto alone or with animals) are  welcome.

tldr a down-low thing that flares up from time to time

Makoto being this optomist while Rei is pessimistic, but I think Mako runs the danger of Rei setting off her slightly cynical streak. Especially in regards to how both are alone but Mako in the sense of a chance while Rei was rejected

OTOH Mako is someone I think Rei could nurture (which she has a streak of doing) without gravitating to coddling her because Makoto doesn’t really want or need that, just support. Plus I know Rei seems the type not to open BUT I think Mako is so lowkey she’d come off as less judgey as Rei’s friends might accidently do
