I saw something that Said Scar and Gem’s dynamic is “The protector and the dosent want to be protected” and I have a lot of thoughts (No hate to this person at all!! Btw!!)
-Protector and dosent want to be protected; 9 times out of ten Goodtimeswithscar will be the one to ask Gem to protect him, he is a damsel in distress in many cases and being the way he is he acts useless so Gem can save him because he finds it entertaining

I feel like they have more than just being a protector and protected? They are dynamically good friends, if anything it's more that they enable eachothers more crazy sides in a controlled manner! They also attempt to look out for eachother, for example in Nice life (Scar being concerned for Gem while they are mining) and impossible minecraft
Mostly my biggest issue with this is that their dynamic is being dumbed down to Scar always needing help OR Gem always thinking Scar needs help which is not true;
Gem acknowledges Scars skills in things and values his opinions, calling him smart and that his jokes are funnily clever, she does not think Scar always needs help, she knows how well he can handle himself which is why she will pick on him and kill him herself
Also; she witnessed first hand how well he can handle himself in Secret life, even calling him a spider who she would prefer to keep an eye on so it dosent do anything in Past life. Geminitay has been killed by Goodtimeswithscar twice
On Scars side; He is, at multiple points, Gems biggest supporter in what she does. He will flood her with compliments and generally will only have good things to say about her.
He of course still worries about her in situations like the caving expedition in Nice life, despite knowing full well she can handle herself.
He also finds satisfaction in poking at her and getting a reaction. He will, at times, be ask for it just for entertainment.
They are much more than just "the protector and the protected" in fact; they can be quite a powerful duo when put together!! Could you imagine more of Scar and Gems team up in secret life?
