They have quite funny roles in school casts au and I thought for a long time about drawing something like this, it turned out pretty cute (I like it)

their parents are business partners and their families are friends w/ each other so they got to know each other at an early age

they had a lot of pressure from their parents to succeed academically. they became closer confiding in each other about their home lives and could comfort each other since they knew what the person was going through and could relate

they know each other's favorite ice cream orders (reiner likes superman/neapolitan/those ice cream flavors where it's like 3 in one b/c it's like "ooh 3 flavors for the price of one". historia likes butter pecan, pistachio, or butterscotch and reiner likes to make fun of her b/c she has the palate of an old lady)

they love movie nights. it allows them to become immersed in an entirely different world and escape the mounting pressures from their parents temporarily. as kids, reiner rly liked superhero movies, but both he and historia liked princess movies. in middle school and high school, the rly loved watching teen chick flicks and musicals

reiner is an all around nice guy but he's always been kind of big and burly even as a kid so ppl tried not to cross him. turns out historia is the one to watch out for. she's absolutely ruthless if people upset her but especially if ppl upset reiner. in elementary school some middle schoolers picked on a bunch of fifth graders including reiner. they went to school the next day and were expelled when an anonymous tipper alerted the school that some students were seen with prohibited items and administrators found said items in those middle school students' lockers.
