#regular customers

I love the regular customers. Not the ones that you know come in that are going to be pains in the butts and are going to ask for all these discounts and expect you to turn Heaven and Hell for them. Those regulars can go past Retail Hell. I love the regular customers that are actually so happy to see you. The ones that look for your line so they can have you as a cashier or just look for you to say hello. They genuinely want to hear about your day and how you're doing. The other day I was doing throwbacks and a pair of regular customers came to say hi to me as they always do. But they were actually in Aisle 20 when I was and forgot to say hi; so when I went to Aisle 18 to put stuff back on the shelves, they backtracked and apologized for not stopping to say hi in the first place like they always do. They even remembered I took a day off last weekend to go away for the day and asked how that went. They listened to me recount meeting up with my good friends from college which prompted them to share a couple of their college stories from back in the day as well. It's just so nice to see regular customers that you actually want to see at work and look forward to these little conversations. Retail can have some of the worst people in existence but it can also have some of the nicest, too. It's customers like these that always help me get through the week!

Hey if you’re a regular customer somewhere can you like... not assume the cashier remembers you? Some people (myself included) are awful at remembering faces and honestly? You as a customer are probably not that significant to them unless you were a huge asshole to them at some point. 

Guys one of my regular customers gave me a Wicked monopoly board game today because she said she knows how much I love Wicked and the Wizard of Oz 🥺
