back in tumblr because I wanted to see if.. well, my fandom still alive and coming back or not
I think thereâs ship war, here and there, threats, most likely. Not new, my fandom is quite f*cked up from the get go, because of the incest labels
(Yea, itâs Elsaanna)
I donât know how many of you ship them and followed me since (I think itâs 2013? I forgot, lots of things happens. Thanks for still following me :D )
I donât know if Elsamaren is canon (Disney only says that Elsa is gay, not confirming love interest), or Elsanna fandom is the one making Elsamaren a.. thing.
well I donât think Iâm going to draw any Frozen pairings, yet. No confirmation and the weak connections between characters are making me uncomfortable. Except Elsanna, which is pretty weird, since Anna married to Kristoff.
Arenât marriage supposed to be grand? Not bland? =_=
Will sit and wait. Cuz time will tell.
Perhaps drawing some crossover and other pairings ha ha ha

Apologies for losing my temper yesterday, I know one rubbish reviewer doesnât undo all the love and support I get from you â¨
I had a few separate asks regarding if there was any way people could show their appreciation aside from reviews or reblogs, including some people who wanted to know if I have a ko-fi or patreon or anything similar for tips âźď¸Â đŽ
I donât have anything like that set up as it would be a professional conflict of interest, but Iâm very flattered that you like my work to that extent â¤ď¸ So while your appreciation is enough for me, if youâd really like to donate, why not consider supporting Archive of our Own? The Organisation for Transformative Works does so much for fandom in general, and I think itâs important to keep them up and running, especially with todayâs increasingly monitored internet (looking at Tumblr... đ)
Here is the link to the donations page, which allows you to set your own amount đľ
đđđ all my love to my fans! đđđ

YUP, thereâs even the possibility that he was born before Finarfin. There was a nice post about this, let me find it
BLESS TBH. Maedhros is one of the folks whoâll be showing up on my multimuse, and Iâve been trying to complete his bio without re-reading all of Silm. TGâs assessment has Fingolfin being born in 1990, Finarfin in 1230, and Maedhros anywhere between 1990-1300.
Obviously my approach is currently as lazy as humanly possible, but assuming thatâs true itâs possible Maedhros is only a little bit younger than Fingolfin as well. Iâm currently trying to check for any information directly disputing this, because if not Iâm definitely making it a part of my headcanons for him.
As I write this, I canât believe that I have to write this, but apparently, people donât have enough common sense. Â
Regarding celebrity shipping: I think itâs hard to deny that itâs a thing and that it will always be a thing. Â Consider the mere existence of tabloids or schoolkids wanting to hear about every break-up and get-together between classes; being interested in other peopleâs relationships is kind of really common. Â And with actors, thereâs an extra dimension because of characters; so you add this extra realm of the relationship between those two actors, and the relationship between the characters that they portray. Â To my memory, I think Brad Pitt got together with Angelina Jolie after they had worked on Mr. and Mrs. Smith together. Â You canât deny that chemistry can occur from being in that sort of situation.
But thereâs a line between thinking that two people could be cute together, and forgetting that they are in fact, their own people, and NOT bound by your expectations or hopes. Everyoneâs coming at me for the Takashou thing (whether opposed or in support), so Iâll just use them for this discussion.Â
Shouri is not Kuroo. Takato is DECIDEDLY not Kenma (lol). I do NOT think everything they do together is some sort of canon Kuroken representation. Â I admit it can be fun to project their characters onto them and imagining the characters doing the same things their actors would or getting up to the same shenanigans, but Shouri and Takato are still people, and the relationship they have is NOT a replica of Kuroo and Kenma. Â On the most fundamental level, they are two actors who got to know each other through this production, and theyâre having a fucking blast with it and with each other. Thatâs fun to see. Â Haikyuu inspires a certain level of camaraderie thatâs not very common for a lot of other shows. Â And then it so happens that their characters happen to be quite a popular ship. Â Kuroken being a ship is impossible to ignore completely, but you have to remember itâs not the full picture. Â Some of it might just be fan service, true. Â I think most of it is that Shouri and Takato get along really well so they like spending time together. Â
Some of you are definitely conflating the fact that I ship Kuroken and that I find Takato and Shouri adorable people with the idea that I want these two to date. Â
Now bringing all this to the public space of fandom gets tricky. Â Just because I understand this distinction doesnât mean everyone else does, or that everyone is aware of what Iâm aware. Â Some people are legitimately shipping Takashou as people and hoping that theyâre secretly making out in dark corners, and some might assume that I hope for the same thing. Â Hereâs the thing, I use ship names and mean them entirely platonically too. Â Thatâs also a thing. Â
On the surface level, people being happy and excited to see Takato and Shouri having fun together is harmless. Â In my honest opinion, shipping them as people is also largely harmless. Â Whether you ship them or not, theyâre cute people, and the things they do are adorable too. Â
What makes it harmful is when people start commenting on the actorsâ social media pages to tell them that they ship them with their fellow actor (which Iâve seen, just not yet for Haikyuu). What makes it harmful is when people think of them as only their characters and not as who they really are. Â What makes it harmful is when people push it from âwild hopeâ to âexpectation.â Â The only expectations you can push onto people are legal and professional ones (e.g. expecting a co-worker to finish their part of a project; expecting someone to uphold the law and maybe not go on a murderous rampage). Â In nearly every other instance, if you expect something from someone (especially for your benefit), youâre not treating them as people.
For Takashou shippers, as long as you have zero expectations of these people, as long as youâre not TELLING them any of this⌠whether platonic or romantic, go ahead and have fun with it.  For people who think shipping real people is disgusting, you are responsible for your own fandom experience. Unfollow/block people as you need to, because youâre not changing anyoneâs mind with cringeworthy anon hate and negativity. Â
For people coming at me because I ship Kuroken: Fuck you, I donât give two shits for your opinion. This is my personal blog, my corner of fandom, and I will ship whatever fictional characters I damn well please. Â
p.s. I canât believe this needs saying either but: Please be polite and respectful when commenting on these actorsâ twitters and other social media.  Pretend youâre meeting someoneâs grandparents for the first time or interviewing for a job.  DONâT call them baby, daddy, honey, etc⌠Take a note from Japanese fandom.  Nearly every single comment left by a Japanese fan includes some form of âThank you for your hard workâ or âCongratulations on todayâ or âPlease get lots of restâ etc⌠ Thatâs not to say there are zero creepy comments from Japanese fans (there is no culture exempt from creepers or idiots), but it is alarming to me when I see the majority of English comments fall into the creepy/rude category.

If a person hates a series and wholeheartedly believe that it's stupid and dumb, then why are there some people who still make themselves suffer by watching a series and then post that "this series so and so is really dumb and stupid" in some social media site and tagging the series' name in the process (and not putting the #hate #rant tag too to boot...)? Aside from it's your freedom of speech to tell the whole world that the series is shitty, of course.
It's not like you're going to convince the series' fans that it's as stupid and dumb as you think it is.
Sometimes I think people who do that are just picking a senseless fight with the series' fans who stumble upon the blog/page/timeline because the OP tagged the series' name in the post.
I might be wrong of course.
Does not apply for a person who discontinued a series or haven't watched a series, though. After all, YMMV. Not everyone has the same taste in TV shows and books and etc.
Just for a person who continues watching a series just to bash it online.
I donât actually understand why people feel that they need to hate on each other because they ship different things. It should be like I ship things that you donât and you ship things that I donât and thatâs fine. Ultimately, itâs for fun. Shipping, fandoms, fanfiction, fanart, cosplaying and whatever else is for fun. People should be more excellent to each other. Instead of hating, they should try discussing how much they like the show/game/book/whatever. People will always have different opinions and thatâs okay. Life would be boring if we all thought the same. Share some love, guys.
