Songs are ones that either remind me of the characters or their relationship to one another hehe so its bound to be angsty lolol

Ooh thank you for these!! I’ll answer for Mara since I think she has the most interesting backstory

1. Who makes up your family?  How close are you to them?

“Me, the leftovers in my fridge, and my vibrator.” Mara smirks but avoids eye contact. “I don’t... really have family. Not blood related, at least. I have friends, but I don’t know if they see me as close as...family.”

3. What is your favorite childhood memory?

“Have I ever mentioned the time I pranked the nuns who looked after me before I was placed in my foster home? It was three of us who got bored during mass - we turned all of their crosses on their walls upside down while they were praying. Got a good fright out of them,” Mara laughs to herself, her face relaxed for the first time. “It was worth the labor they made us do for the next week.”

5. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

Kaia is a left-handed asexual, like me, because I’m projecting.

Thank you for this ask!! I’ve got to go with Remy, purely because a) POV character, and b) he is my current oc obsession

what they smell like

beeswax wood polish, plant fertiliser, mothballs, cleaning products, earl grey tea – it’s a mixed bag, and depends what he’s doing that day.

what their favorite smells in the world are

pine forests and freshly-turned earth

what pajamas they wear/what they wear to sleep in

listen.... remy wants you to think he’s cool and fashionable, but he sleeps in very old fashioned tartan or flannel pyjamas, so it’s all a lie

my favorite ship (if applicable) and a cute hc about them

when they get a little cottage together pot-plot, they keep a garden and often work on it together in mutual, comfortable silence (and occasionally have mud fights, instigated by remy splashing darren with the hose, because they’re both incorrigible children at heart)

Remy.... hasn’t had many friends for the past 70 years or so, save for his found family. But! He has very nice relationships with them, so I think that counts. He and Thalia make videos about moths and butterflies and insects, just for fun. Thalia has a few dozen files on her laptop of these videos, 90% of which are the two of them messing around, tramping through brambles, getting lost, and Remy doing David Attenborough impressions

i’ve been wracking my brains over this for a few solid minutes and i can’t think of one. aesthetically, a scraggly orange cat, but in terms of personality? no idea. 

what position they sleep in

starfish. takes up the entire bed, even if it’s a king-sized bed. considering his small and scrawny stature, this is quite an impressive accomplishment
