yesssss i was waiting for an ask like this:

crow is a huge Fishing Dad. often he would take ender and red down to the rivers to fish in the warmer seasons; elanuelo, in the first few years, would accompany them if only to make sure that neither of the kids fell in. later on one of flux's earliest memories is of casting a net over the side of a fishing boat or a sea ledge.

elanuelo would sing sometimes to them before they went to sleep. though the memories got less and less frequent, ender can still remember a faint blurry vision of elanuelo humming at his bedside.

ender is the hide and seek guru, while red is king of the hill extraordinare. flux was pretty good at chess, which he was taught by storminghell, his granddad.

turkey would sometimes carve little wooden toys for his daughter(s), and occasionally some of the members of his sector would come to him to request a figurine. he also kept a bottomless amount of sweets in his pockets for the children who would sometimes accompany their parents to work.

red liked to make ender accompany him in his exploits, but whenever they got caught, he never lied. elanuelo knew every single time when they got into trouble, even if they weren't caught, but due to red's honestly he purposefully turned a blind eye every time.

solev would sometimes carry elanuelo around under his arm like a duffel bag, at his request.

when sidefall was still living in aculon, toodrew would sometimes catch birds in his bare hands and show them to him (inspired by a childhood memory of mine). sidefall also tormented cynikka, cadastro, and spy by loving to finger paint on everything.

solev was the bedtime story genius.

flux would totally be ezran's weird bum uncle. he was also awkwardly this to sidefall, with whom he is relatively close to in age.

now onto headcanons:

there is a big Deaf culture in the cass coalition. the coalition's thriving economy and community requires all members to be able to communicate, and this, combined with the fact that their beloved leader is deaf in one ear, meant that children and adults alike had to learn and remain fluent in sign language, such that the movements became present even in regular speech between hearing folk. coalition sign language was probably also very helpful during the Battle of Infernus, where telling allies apart from enemies was very confusing!

seraphim began wearing a mourning veil in the days before her murder of Jophiel, and in the days after, in the custom of her people. this also served to help hide her identity.

aperite wine is really ass. i actually think tricolour wouldve had a huge wine industry that especially grew after jophiel's death.

redizlightning, one of elanuelo's more obscure children, was canonically a member of the peacekeepers and fought alongside infernus during the final siege. this means he was reunited with his long-sundered siblings, flux and cynikka, at least once before all three of them died in the battle. between flux and red, i think ezran would have had a better relationship with the latter as an uncle, as flux mostly spent time with cynikka and red was pretty friendly in comparison.

outlyingcrow, if given the chance, would have gutted saparata himself. the other pirates were planning to beat saps up so bad he would be unable to escape before calling crow to the scene.

speaking of which - saps has a begrudging respect for crow, which the latter only barely reciprocates. he admires crow's blunt honesty and willingness to protect his own, seeing him as a kindred spirit. if crow knew this, he would've hated the idea.
