Zig-Zag plant in flower in Fiji but not Belmont (Euphorbia tithymaloides) It’s native to tropical and subtropical North America and Central America. Sometimes called redbird flower, devil's-backbone, redbird cactus, buck-thorn, cimora misha, Christmas candle, fiddle flower, ipecacuahana, Jacob's ladder, Japanese poinsettia, milk-hedge, myrtle-leaved spurge, Padus-leaved clipper plant, red slipper spurge, slipper flower, slipper plant, slipper spurge, timora misha. It does have a really beautiful flower but I’ve never seen one flower in our area. Mostly I’ve grown it in pots and usually in a shaded spot so I think I might try it in a sunny garden spot and see what happens.
