(Y/N) appearance: Brown medium length hair half up half down with braids on the side (Like the picture) she had a stoic and nonchalant resting face but she was just as witty and sarcastic as they come. This helped her fit right in! She is the best in combat from the glades her main weapon was a bow and arrow and a knife she ALWAYS had on her. This is a Thomas x Reader fic

Summary: Thomas has been watching his girlfriend for 2 years after WCKD  put her in the maze and he went into the maze and forgot everything just to fall in love with her all over again. (If that makes sense)

Thomas was monitoring you. You were doing the maze you’ve been doing the maze for 2 years! Hes been monitoring you the whole time. Before you went into the maze and forgot everything you and Thomas were a thing and he just let it happen.. he regrets it everyday and now he could only watch you from a screen as you fight for your life. God he misses you.. he knew if he went into the maze you two would be strangers again he didn’t want that.. I mean if he went into the maze and you forgot each other what are the chances of you loving each other again? Right?

“Hey you okay?” He snapped out of daze he didn’t even realize he was zoned out. After an unsuccessful attempt at rescuing Minho Thomas couldn’t sleep. He told Vince a plan but he knew they didn’t have the time or people to plan it. 

“Yeah I’m fine..”

You sighed “I know your thinking of going tonight and I’m going to tell you right now it’s stupid”

“What— how could you- well it’s not!” 

You giggled at his stupid flushed face “You are so predictable! And because you have all your gear on-“

“Whatever” Thomas scoffed but there was no real bite behind it

“I’ll go with you”

“What-“

“Don’t fight with me! I can help your going on a suicide mission I want in”

“God you are so annoying” He chuckled

“I’ll be right back and try not to make so much noise I mean you trip over everything”

“Just go!” He said with a laugh

You leave with your hands in the air in mocked defense. Thomas could slightly remember his time in WCKD and what you guys had and he threw it all away for some stupid cure.. he thought it was impossible to fall in love with the same person twice but Thomas was head over heels. While they were sneaking away Thomas was kinda disappointed to see Newt and Fry of course he wasn’t but he could have had a thing going with you. They hadn’t been alone since the glade! But they were in the back seat together and Thomas brushed your hand with his he was just testing the waters he didn’t expect you to full on grab his hand and act like everything was normal! He was pissed when those stupid infected came around and they had to let go.

You sighed, tired after a hard day. You were a runner, and every single day was exhausting. Now you just want to sit alone and have some time to yourself.

"Hey y/n, looking splendid today," Gally said, smirking. You sighed again, not in the mood to talk. Gally always picked on you because you’re the most timid and shy glader. His bullying and teasing were starting to get to you, but what can you do? He’s bigger, and much stronger than you. You don’t stand a chance against him.

When you didn’t answer, Gally frowned and lifted your chin up with his fingertips. They were cold and you shuddered. “Why don’t you answer me, y/n?” he asked in a dangerously low voice.

"I… I…" you stuttered, not knowing what to say. He was scaring you. You mentally slapped yourself for being such a coward. His hand trailed to your arm now, his fingernails grazing your skin. "Say something, y/n." he said, an evil glint in his eye.

"S..stop, Gally. Please, please leave me alone." You said, trembling. Gally smirked. "I think not." Then he started to lean in.

You knew what he intended to do, and tried to get away, but his hands were like death grips. You can’t let him kiss you, you never even had your first kiss yet, or at least you don’t remember if you’ve ever kissed anyone. You started to struggle, but his head was leaning closer and closer-

You gasped when the hands on your arms loosened suddenly. Gally was on the floor, with a furious Minho on top of him, punching him repeatedly. What was Gally’s face turned into a bloody pulp.

"Stop, stop it Minho!!" you shouted, running towards them and tried to pry them apart. After a few more punches and kicks, Minho finally stopped, but his face was still red with anger.

"You shucker!!!" he shouted. "You dare touch y/n again and I swear to the maze you will not be able to go to the toilet!!!"

"Shuck you Minho, I was just playing around." Gally said. It was a wonder he still could speak because you couldn’t actually see his mouth as his whole face was covered in blood. "It’s not like she means anything to anyone."

He should not have said that. Minho’s face darkened; he looked scary. “What..” he said, trembling with rage, “did you say again?” Gally probably sensed he was in danger, for he looked strickened.

Without another word, he ran away, with a cursing Minho trying to run after him but pulled back by you. “Hey don’t go after him, he’s not worth it.” you said softly.

"Somebody needs to put him back in his shucking place." he said through gritted teeth. Suddenly, you saw there was a bruise on his arm. You immediately put you fingertips on the bruise, and Minho sucked in a breath.

"Does it hurt?" you asked, worried. He laughed. "It’s not funny!" You said, serious now. "You couldn’t get hurt because of me. I’m not worth it."

At that his whole expression changed. “Y/n, you’re worth everything.” he said. Your eyes widened. Did he really just said what you think he said?

Minho sighed. “Why do you think I was so angry when Gally tried to kiss you?” You thought for a while. “Because you’re really nice, and if anyone were in danger, you help them.” you answered truthfully.

He raised an eyebrow. “So you think if it was anyone in your position, I would do the same thing?”

"Of course you would."

"Well, you’re wrong. I would only do that for you."

What? What did he say?

"Y/n, perhaps you don’t realize, but have you noticed that all the guys except Gally had stayed away from you in a two mile radius?"

Yeah, now that he said it, you realized that it was true. “Wait, how did you know that?” He rolled his eyes and walked nearer you. “Because, I told them to. Gally didn’t listen like usual, of course.”

"But why would you tell them to stay away from me?" You asked, confused.

Minho sighed and wrapped his muscular arms around you. “Because you are mine, and nobody touches what’s mine.”

You giggled, not believing him. “You’re funny, Minho.”

He poked your nose. “I’m not joking, y/n. I like you. Really much. Like really, really, really shucking much to the point where I think about you when I run in the maze, when I sleep at night, and when I saw another glader just talking at you, I want to kill them.”

You just stared at him, mouth slightly open. You couldn’t understand why of all people, Minho would like you. Of course, the only other girl is Teresa, but he could be gay. And Teresa was a much better opinion.

"But…" you stuttered. You were cowardly, you have no friends, while Minho was handsome and popular. You just don’t understand.

Minho sensed your hesitation, and his face dropped. “Of course, you don’t feel the same, I understand. Just… Pretend this never happened.” He started to unwrap his arms, but you didn’t want him to misunderstand.

You grabbed his arms, stopping him from letting go. “Minho, I feel the same. I have had a crush on you since I came out of the box. It’s.. Just that I’m no good for you.” You said, not meeting his eyes.

"Hey hey hey," he said, tipping your chin up. "How could you think that? You’re perfect."

You smiled. “That’s not true.”

"It is, and even if it isnt, which I doubt, I like you. Nobody can change that."

Before you could resond, he gave you a sweet, gentle kiss, literally erasing the memory of what you were about to say.

You know you aren’t perfect, but here, embracing with Minho, you think that you two are a perfect couple.
