I suppose I should give you the run down to why I'm doing a happy dance today ...
Play a quick catch up .. last weekend my boyfriend's ex girlfriend / old high school acquaintance of mine showed up at our campsite for vball tournament, i was less than thrilled, but whatever, she's just a different breed idk, i don't mind her, and I trust Dave fully, she just is a gossiper, I won't tell Dave who he can and cannot hang out with, and bleh, anyway, she and I started talking about my weight. That she thinks that with all the working out I have been doing, my problem is clearly "I am eating too much". I said I'm eating right, it all just takes time. She then told me maybe my thyroid is to blame. I told her I'm not looking for an "excuse", but since I stopped insanity for the time being since 4th to be honest, I didn't need to eat as much as I have been, though I was still eating healthy and clearly plenty of it. So later that night, I become extremely drunk (2 day vball tourney and camping with great friends) I have a complete emotional drunk rant to my boyfriend about how his ex should mind her own business ... bla bla bla ... yeah it was not pretty. And though Dave, has a hard enough time gaining weight because of his stress levels @ work, trying to get a new job, what have you, he loves me no matter what the # on a scale says. That was the moral of the "catch up" story ... LOL anywho.
So Friday before camping I weighed in at a gross 202 for a 5'1'' woman, that is not good. Today is Thursday and I'm down to 196. This past month I have lost the same 4 lbs over and over again, it was rediculous and I was getting so frustrated with just "maintaining" ...
So what has changed?? I have been posting just about everything that I eat. Sorry for the food porn lately. But it's keeping me accountable I guess you could say. that's 6 lbs people. I also have changed that just because MFP says that I have 2000 extra calories for the day, doesn't necessarily mean that I should consume them....
So yea, did I need the talk and the emotional break down .. it's up in the air. But did it help me get in the mind frame again to really really watch, workout, and re-commit.
Yea, because after all, if people are going to talk about you, you might as well give em something to talk about.
