At first he’d be like “I am absolutely not supposed to have a crush on my CO.”

Then he’d think of Darman and Etain and be like “Kark it. Why not!?” They’re making it work, why couldn’t he?

Does not try in the slightest to hide the fact that he’s got it down bad for you. You know, the other Deltas know, Omega Squad knows, Vau knows. Everyone knows who is around you two for more than five minutes.

Super quick to jump in and help you do literally anything. The task could require zero Commandos, but you would still have help from Scorch. You need to restock your pack? He’s already unzipping it and slipping in water and rations and anything else you might need. You have to put a small crate on the ship? He’s got it in his hands before you can even reach for it and asking where you want it.

Doubles down on jokes to try to get you to smile. He hates seeing you stressed or upset. If he can get you to smile or laugh, his day automatically improves too.

Sev gives him hell about his crush all the time. The moment you come in the room, Sev is automatically ribbing him through their helmet comlink. You may not can see Scorch’s blush (which has him thanking the Manda for the buy’ce) but you can feel it through the Force.

If you do return his feelings, you’ve got one of the most loving and faithful boyfriends in the entire galaxy.

He loves watching you in action, but he is definitely trying to show off. He may or may not have been practicing a few trick shots to impress you. 

Jusik tries his best to make sure you get assigned missions with Delta Squad, but when you’re not - 

You two comm each other as much as possible, but it can be difficult when you’re on different planets in two different war zones. Neither of you want to be a distraction for the other. But when you do get to see each other or hear each other’s voices, it floods you both with relief knowing that you’ve both survived to fight another day. 

On those comms, you make plans about all the things you want to do when you see each other again. You make plans for a future without war. A future where you choose him over the Jedi Order and run away to do whatever either of you want. You know a lot of these plans will never actually happen, but it gives you both a time to hope and pretend like you’re just normal people for once.

Scorch knew being away a lot would be hard, but it makes things even harder when he has to worry about you in battle far away. He seeks advice from Darman on how to handle the anxiety of it.

He was okay with keeping your relationship secret for a while. It was almost fun. Sneaking around and trying not to let other Jedi (minus Jusik and Etain of course) know that your relationship was more than a professional one.

As your relationship grew and became more serious, the secret became less fun. He would see civie couples holding hands. Atin and Laseema going on dates. He wants to do that too. He’s so proud to be yours and he wants everyone to know. Maybe he’s been around Fi too much.
