My au, Rayman arena's events are a truce treaty between the Glade of Dreams, and the robot pirates.

However, since Razorbeard teams with Ales, that treaty is obviously broken. Which is how Rayman gets kidnapped in my au bc he's like "guess I have to check this out"

Mr. Dark I see him as mainly egomaniacal. All of his actions are from an angle of twisted heroism and sentimentality. He does not view his actions as evil he views it to be what’s best for the wellbeing of the Glade of Dreams and for the sake of the Glade’s wellbeing it means handing him total control and power over the world. The twisted sentimentality comes into play with how and why he resides in the Candy Château. Juvenile in some ways where he makes it law to always be positive and ignore any questionable behavior of his. At the same time he does not see the point or practicality for sense violence and destruction if a greater threat came to the Glade he’d begrudgingly work with Betilla and Rayman to stop it but he’d complain and gloat about how they needed his knowledge all the way through.

Meanwhile Razorbeard is fascinating cause by looks alone anyone would assume he’s some comical wannabe pirate with a napoleon complex and although they’re half right. He’s actually the most cruel, depraved person one has the misfortune of meeting. He’s also the one of the few antagonist with a kill count and a high one at that since according to the manual he already destroyed 100 peaceful planets before coming to wreck havoc on the Glade. He engages in human trafficking and has no qualms of enslaving children. His cruel actions contrast with his sorta funny diminutive appearance but he’s by far the most rotten antagonist. His only goal is enriching himself and enslaving others. His flaw I think is that he doesn’t know when to call it quits who ironically constantly looks down on others . His criminal enterprise was already thriving beforehand until they made the mistake attacking the Glade and constantly underestimating Rayman as he slowly turned the tide of battle and by the end he’s lost like most of his crew members and his ship fleeing away in a tiny flying boat.

He is watching them
