The first nightmare
I've been having a lil' bit of a Rayman craze, specifically Origins and Legends, since I grew up with those two. Recently, I've been working on writing a plot for Origins since... well... there's not really one. That has also come with working on redesigning some of the characters, specifically the Nymphs and the Four Rulers, since while important to the progression of the game, we don't get much with them. I'm very excited to show those designs and ideas I have with you, but for now, let's focus on a single (or two) character today...
This is not merely a redesign as per usual, but more of a re-imagining. The main bad guy of Origins and Legends and ex-ally(?) of Rayman; Ales Mansay, otherwise known as The Magician, otherwise known as The Dark Teensy.
If there's one character who got royally screwed by Origins' lack of plot, it's him. The Reveal sequence was awesome, but if there was more appearance of a plot, it could've been even cooler! I tried my best not to make this lengthy, but alas. I'm not typing it all out again, so the story I have in mind for him is below.
Also, I know this is VERY specific, but I would like feedback on how Jano is characterized here. I tried to make him have the personality he had in Rayman 2, and I hope that comes across correctly. Otherwise, happy reading!

Dream Catcher Anniversary!
Hey! Today is the 4th Anniversary of the Dream Catcher Series! :D

I never would have dreamed how big this project would wind up being when I first decided that I could maybe tackle this old story idea I had first wrung up all the way back in 2009.
If you haven't heard about this yet ever, or it's been on your radar and you'd put it away for a later date and then possibly maybe forgot (no shame, it happens to me all the time :'D ) maybe now is the time to take a look at this story! <3
Dream Catcher focuses on one of Rayman's often overshadowed antagonists: Jano, known better to some as "the Guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams" or "the First Nightmare" with a couple of wild theories and headcanons that put into question what makes a Nightmare and if truly all of them are enemies.
