Cult of Shalim - What's the worst thing your OC has suffered so far?

His Embrace; was directly present during the Week of Nightmares as part of the relief workers/forces assisting in evacuation efforts. Was psychologically torn apart and drained as a husk for the entire period, only to wake at its end in a Frenzy with total Amnesia. Has lost all connection to self, aside from the few items on his person, but even then, he still sees the storm and the echoing wails of Ravana during daysleep.

Cult of Mithras - Has your OC been in a blood bond? Are they currently in one? Do they have anyone bonded to them?

He is technically bonded to an unknown Ravnos. Something of a perpetual affliction by the nature of his Embrace, so not all of his actions are his own, and are instead a means of quieting the voices that drive him.

Gael has been taking steps towards working on escaping from the clutches of the Winter Family for a while now and it has finally begun to bear fruit. She investigates potential places along the East Coast she could run off to with the help of a contact from her London corpse heist nights.

In an astonishing turn of events, she cashes in her very major boon with Grace Winters to free not her, not Storm, the street urchin she sees as her little sister, but Roan—her incredibly toxic ex and partner-in-crime, who sold her but also taught her how to survive in the underworld. Not only does Gael remind Grace of her humanity, it causes Gael to gain back one as well.

The copied greenhouse key of the Winter Family ends up being her golden ticket out, as she sets up a fully virtual, untraceable auction for it with the help of Roan. N.B. There were other matters concerning an Entropy mage, Bridget, who assisted her with filling Roan's void, but I won't deep dive into it. Two influential Wethouder, Thijs van Oorten (Nosferatu "strawberry man") and Dr. Oskar Schiller ("the old fucker") try to outbid each other. Thijs wins and makes the first half of the payment, but cheats Gael out of the second half. No bother, 3.5 million dollars is enough to start a modest new life elsewhere.

Gael and Storm move to Miami, taking shelter at the Anarch stronghold. She checks Storm into a clinic to help her get clean, but it's not easy process and there are relapses. One night, Gael receives a mysterious package addressed personally to her with no sender details. Inside lies Grace's necklace. Unsettled but having had enough of the past's bullshit, Gael throws the package away in the nearest tip.

It's been a wild ride, Gael. And it was nice knowin' ya.
