I found this post when browsing through Facebook. I chose this as my Worst Post for week 6 because when I first saw it at glance, it immediately made my heart heavy. And at the end of it, I was left angry and speechless.

For starters, ladies, if you happen to discover/know that you are pregnant, get any, and as much help that you think you may need! This could cover a variety of topics ranging from clothes, to food, to mental help. Seriously, get help for anything; the health of your unborn child is super important!

As shown in the video, just in the last 10 years, over 130,000 babies have been born addicted to drugs. That is CRAZY! I know for a fact that even on T.V., different medication commercials state, and have fine print saying, “Should not consume while pregnant,” doesn’t that mean anything?! If it is not okay to take sleeping medication, drink, or even smoke while pregnant, do people seriously think it is okay to take opioids?.. 

The video its self seems similar to a documentary or T.V. show, if that is the case, why is it not broadcasted more, or has similar stories relevant to the topic that can air? Almost 4 million babies are born in one year, and that is just in the United States. Could you imagine how many in the world? That number is 130 million babies! I feel people should be more aware of the side effects that can happen to their child if they don’t follow instructions or directions from a doctor.
