we get it, the brain is trying to protect us by dissociating, but sometimes that was something i needed to know? -k
they'll get mad at us if we forget what they said, but what they said in the first place is distressing. surely we can just dissociate from all of it right? that's what the brain seems to think. our therapist doesn't like that sort of thinking -s
something about having to feel things, even negative things, but there is another reason that currently speaks more to me. if we keep irratating people because we're forgetting things, soon they'll leave, one by one. and then we'll have nothing left anymore -k
and as much as that sounds appealing in one way, in another way that's all we've got going for us anymore. people. we don't want to lose them. -s

Hi! We are in fact two different guys, we're not going to get into the specifics.
