We basically forced @ramblingmoose to be our Baphomet but he seems to have taken to the idea.
(But like you can’t show up to a WicDiv thing as the Morrigan’s escort wearing a leather jacket and then just NOT BE BAPHOMET.)

I paced around the apartment shouting “FIST PUMP FIST PUMP” and pumping my fist, before I remembered that that wasn’t a human reaction, so I got a bowl of olives and finished the fucking book.

Due to the recent announcements (and congrats on both books!) I have two important questions. The first is that looking at your Spotify, you sure are listening to a lot of Mastodon. Is this due to the Lord of the Sith or the Assassin of Asgard? And second: do you prefer Darth Kieron or Darth Gillen? Or will you be taking on an entirely new Sith moniker?
Mastodon are working really well for both, actually. Also another short project that I'm working on. It's a very hard rock summer.
Darth Gillen, surely?Â

When the soviet union fell, one of the projects dissolved was a long arduous project to domesticate foxes. Given enough time, it would've been expensive but successful. After the project lost funding, nobody ever picked it up again. #MastersInHistory
psshh we learned about the silver fox experiments in my evolution and animal behavior classes! #MinorInBiology :D
Also I wrote about them in my I.S.! I love those foxes. The coolest thing they learned was that traits for docility are associated with traits for neoteny (keeping juvenile characteristics into adulthood). So the foxes produced by the experiment have rounder ears, shorter snouts, and curlier tails, among other things--i.e. they look like pups even when full grown. And this has lots of fascinating implications for human psychology and human-animal relations in general. Also I think the experiment carried on after the fall of the Soviet Union--as I understand it, they had to cut back the numbers on the farm, and now they're selling them as pets to keep supporting the project.
