5: Do they have any unappealing habits (ex: picking their nose, hawking loogies)?
uhmmmm he always leans against people, he thinks he's so charming and endearingly annoying, but he's mostly just annoying. he picks at his hair, bites his nails too, he also has a tendency to egg people on or insist and insist on something.
7: How do they cope with losing an argument?
he never loses an argument!!!!! or at least that's what he tells himself, often he'll keep going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth for a while, but once (if) he realizes he's wrong or at least gets tired of it he'll storm off, often if he didn't realize he was wrong in the moment he'll realize it upon further reflection. he'll avoid the person he argued with (usually raph) for a while in guilt that he masks as irritation until he feels like raph "figured out" that Donnie's sorry,
Donnie is not good at apologizing nor admitting he's wrong.
8: How do they cope with losing a friend?
this one made me a little sad when I first considered it but now I'm ready to torture my characters! :D
anyways, it really depends. 1. at what arc is he losing this friend? 2. who is this friend? 3. how do others feel about this person? the thing is he goes through a lot of character development during arc 2, so he reacts very differently to things like that before or after arc 2, plus it depends on lot on who this friend is.
basically this is a difficult question, at least when it comes to leo. I will say he's the most likely of the brothers to see it coming, he'll also probably understand the entire situation best so he's likely to be mature about it, or he'll isolate himself from said friend first, since if it's gonna happen anyway it won't matter if it's now or later.
12: How do they deal with experiencing physical pain?
uuuuhhhhhh I haven't thought a whole lot about it, probably isolate himself, but when things are less emotionally complicated he'll be more rational. he dropped a weight on his toe? make sure it's not broken, wrap it up and go easy. tripped and scraped up his knee? disinfect it, wrap it up, change the bandages every couple days. he'll take pain meds if he needs it. he respects his body.
13: Are they easily insulted?
not really, he'll think about insults a lot but he isn't easily swayed by most insults. except for when they're from someone he trusts or cares about, he's afraid of people leaving, but he's more stable than one would expect.
27: Do they find it difficult to try new foods?
depends on the food, I haven't thought much about it but I don't imagine him as particularly picky nor afraid of new foods or new things in general. if any of them are picky or not wanting to try new foods I'd say either Leo or April, raph seems more like a turtle garbage disposal.
33: How would they respond to being asked to watch over a child for an afternoon?
well, her first response would be utter dread, she's too tired to do that. but if it's necessary she'd put up with it, she's not the best with kids but not the worst either, the kid won't die and will probably even enjoy it, April won't enjoy it, not consistently at least but the kid won't know how much she doesn't enjoy it, april's better than to let the kid know she doesn't enjoy them being here.
not sure if any of that made sense lol.
36: Do they enjoy receiving compliments? How do they respond to it?
I haven't thought too much about it! April would probably take the compliment with a simple "thank you!" then over analyze every detail of the compliment the rest of the day, she's too used to back handed compliments :(
mikey, it depends on the person, if it's a human he'll probably just go "uh huh....." at least before arc 2, he's much more okay with humans after arc 2 :3 but anyways, arc 1 Mikey would enjoy compliments from his family, he loves when he gets attention from his family (youngest child behavior lmao) he's also in need of lots of reassurence, especially when they start going up to the surface consistantly, he wants to make sure his family is gonna stay with him, or at least care enough to take him with them.
43: Do they hide objects? What and where?
I haven't thought much about it! he probably hides things he doesn't want his brothers to get their hands on. they're very fluid about who's room is who's, so one night Donnie would sleep in the same room and Leo, the next he's on his own in one of the rooms since Leo, raph, and Mikey are cuddling in the other. so naturally it's difficult to assure that his stuff won't get messed with. usually he'll put his stuff in his lab but if he really wants to make sure things don't get messed with he probably just puts some cut up and exposed wires over it as his brothers and Casey have learned well that exposed wires are bad to mess with, one thing they haven't learnt is that most of the time random piles of wire in donnie's lab isn't connected to power.
45: Who is their greatest confidant? Who confides in them?
he's not good at talking, he's better at listening, learning, then planning accordingly while also (intentionally or not) making it seem like a nice little coincidence that he just happened to have made Mikey's favorite ice cream after Mikey sprained his knee (no one else noticed Mikey hurt his knee)
anyways, Leo doesn't really confide in anyone very much, he enjoys being the one to listen and plan and know what everyone else feels and thinks. he's ignored some big questions about himself in favor of sitting and listening, he's built his understanding of himself around how he fits in with his family, he's made himself the empty space between puzzle pieces instead of finding his own, original shape, y'know? not sure if any of that makes sense.
I feel like Casey or raph are the most likely to confide in him intentionally.
raph. he confides in raph, raph is like his safety net, he sees raph as someone he can trust to always catch him, raph is his rock. I love how much they care about each other but Mikey is a little over dependent on raph, which is why it's so terrifying to Mikey when raph grows closer to Casey, a human, then wants to leave the lair.
mikey usually isn't confided in but on occasion, on late nights when he and Donnie are star gazing and Donnie is calm and quiet and sleepy and no one else is around, Donnie will open up some, not a whole lot, just quiet conversations between pointing out constilations through the sewer drain.
