Been a hot minute!
My Arcane obsession has come back full force with the anticipation for Season 2 this winter.
Ekko WIP but I ended up liking this scratchy, rough colour more than expected.
Close ups of my little shroomie guys from my Gale of the Underdark piece.
Fun fact, inspiration for the cliffsides came from textures found on humpback whales!
I saw a post by @constantinnen about how Gale was originally supposed to be a Drow and I was immediately inspired. (Check out their amazing work here)
Here is my take on Gale of the Underdark.
Another close-up of Gale of the Underdark. Cause he's neat, okay?

Detail time!
Gale's outfit
Most of the fine details on the bodice were obscured by the orb of magic. So much time spent on the details just to blast it with sparkly beams - oop! It was my favourite part of the robe, so here's a closer look at the embroidery before lighting.
Gale's robe is the Shelter of Athkatla design. The colour palette was inspired by the gemstones hues of the Underdark and the cosmos. There are strong purple influences throughout the piece, mainly because it's Gale's favourite colour, as well as the colour of the Weave.
Another fun element not shown here is the cosmos on the lining of Gale's robe. (Check it out here) This was inspired by @themilleniumpeacock on IG, who used a cosmic pattern to line their gorgeous Gale cosplay outfit. Go show them some love here! Shoutout to @vexatious-anamnesis for his stellar detective skills in helping me track down that photo!
Another day, another Work in Progress.
