It was all good and well being on the run, movies made it seem so glamorous but in reality it actually kind of sucked. He couldn't even go into a store without either being shot at or yelled at, it was becoming apparent that his face was quite well recognised by now. As such he was usually allocated to sitting in the truck and told to 'contemplate the universe' while his brother went to get provisions. Alas he'd never been the sit still type and was up and gone within mere minutes after Reggie's departure. 

Somehow managing to acquire a coffee beverage, of which he wasn't too fond of. However by the time he'd made himself scarce it had already turned into nothing more than cold sludge, it might have been a waste. Believing he'd realised these powers for some world changing purpose, but ended up using them to reheat a drink he didn't even like. Yet, he was unsuccessful and the cup and it's contents burnt up in his hand, he hadn't quite mastered the art of the small flame.
