SPLASHHHHH!!
Lake Valor was a spiritual place. Few dared to step foot within the holy lake's vicinity amongst the Diamond Clan. Just moments ago, a massive pillar of light erupted over Mt. Coronet, leaving a tear in time and space in its wake, sparking dangerously overhead. From the pillar of light, three split comets had emerged, each glowing blue, yellow, and pink respectively.
Launched from the sky at the speed of a Garchomp mid-flight, the pink comet crashed directly in the lake, sending aggressive waves sloshing across the surface until they sprayed across the edges, spilling over the only person with the authority to enter the holy place: the leader of the Diamond Clan.
As the waves died down, the pink light faded slowly, taking the shape of a human girl, sinking to the bottom. Did Almighty Sinnoh do this?

Hisui is anything but peaceful. Wild Pokemon wander about, Alphas threaten human lives if either get too close, and then there's nature itself which can be cruel or kind without reason. So, seeing something shoot out from the sky, is shocking. It's new, different- perhaps a sign? Good? Bad? Hard to tell for now.
Regardless, it caught the attention of the Diamond Clan leader, Adaman. Lake Valor is close to his people's settlement, so it's not unusual to have him resting in this area. It's a nice spot, beautiful when the sun begins to set.
But it's not time to think about that, not now.
Adaman steps closer to the water's edge after that comet from the sky had hit the water. He's wary, of course, but curiosity leads him forward. He squints, trying to make out what it was, expecting something like a rock or a Pokemon, but he freezes when he sees a human.
As much as he wishes Iscan was here with his Basculegion, there's no time to wait. He could call others; he expects a few to come, probably Mai or Arezu, but if a human is sinking into the lake, he needs to act. Fast.
The Clan Leader steps back before rushing into the water. He's not a pro swimmer, but he knows enough to survive. Adaman moves as fast as possible, diving after the girl. It's hard to pull her and himself up with limited air, but he doesn't give up. He does everything he can to pull her out of the water and bring her ashore.
He tries to catch his breath, struggling for air now that they're both out of the water. He's totally drenched from head to toe, so is she. He doesn't worry about himself, not while he's conscious. He's more worried about her.
