this is an edvard/barnaby i've had on the back burner for a hot moment. it's kind of a "what if this scene went wrong?" fic.
"The dust stung Barnaby's eyes as they fluttered open, and he could feel the grit between his teeth. The room seemed to spin as he sat up and looked around, but with all of the debris in the air there wasn't much to look at.
