Raging Out
So because I was going back to rewatch the first time Blaine and Liv interacted, I noticed something. Blaine asks Liv if raging outĀ āfull on zombie modeā is at all interesting to Liv and when Liv gives him a deadpan face, he says never mind.
So that leads me to believe that Blaine in facts enjoys the feel of raging out, for whatever reason. Perhaps it makes him feel an adrenaline rush, in control, powerful, whatever. And perhaps that is why he is able to control when and for how long he rages out for. I just always wondered why with Liv that her eyes always went red because she couldnāt control it and always had to calm herself down. But, Blaine, both when he first sleeps with Jackie and when threatening Liv inĀ āBlaineās Worldā, he can easily shift his eyes but remain coherent. So, Iām thinking that because he enjoys the feel of raging out, he was able to control it and probably why the brains never affected him the way other zombies were.
