I like your portrayal of Spike. Have you ever played any other muses aside from Spike? If so, which ones?
Oh, thank you Nonny. Spike is the mused I have played the longest, but I've ventured into others since I love to RP and explore other characters.
Other Fandoms: Remy LeBeau (Comics), Mal Reynolds, "Wash" Washburn, Rick O'Connell, Ravi Chakrabarti, Lucifer Morningstar (FOX/Netflix), Harry Dresden (Books)
Buffy-Verse: Spike (Obviously), WIlliam Pratt (in various threads) Lindsey McDonald, Halfrek
One of the most underratedly funny things iZombie ever did (after killing Rob Thomas) was having Liv eat a noir detective and Blaine eat a femme fatale to which Liv had a whole campy character change and Blaine acted basically exactly the same because the writers realized somewhere in the process of writing that Blaine was already a femme fatale and they'd just never noticed.
Blaine's natural smell ? No, no Blaine DeBeers smells like white lilies and expensive champagne, and cedar why not ?
Major in S5 is the epitome of "I accidentally became important at work and now it's ruining my life"

I do wish iZombie had been more popular so that it could have gone on longer but at the same time, there is a part of me that knows it was never going to be popular, primarily because the writers refused to try to appeal to a mass audience. They wrote what they wanted and let it stand on its own.
There is basically no shipping culture because the emotional center of the show is the relationships between the main cast which are mostly deeply platonic. There was no queer bait so there was no reason to write long gay epics on AO3. The romantic relationship that did exist were satisfying and had closure. Their main villain had all the makings of a Tumblr sexy man EXCEPT that plot and characters (outside of the amnesia arc) didn't try to excuse his actions. He had a rough life. He did shitty things. It was still his choice and he'd do it again. Plus they were refusing from the very beginning to tease any kind of relationship between him and Liv, which for sure would have done numbers but also would have compromised the center of both characters.
In addition it's just a very odd and campy show. They love their stupid puns and over dramatic acting. The premise itself is a hard sell because it sounds so stupid when you try to explain it but rather than trying to tone down the silliness to make the show more palatable to a broader audience, they doubled down and made it more of what it was-- which worked for them.
I would have watched this show for 10 seasons if they let me but whatever, I guess 5 was still pretty good.
It genuinely never gets less funny thinking about season 1 of iZombie from Major's perspective. Poor guy thinks he's the main character of the show but really literally every person around him knows more about what's going on than he does and none of them are telling him SHIT and they gaslight him SO HARD that a guy who started the season as a bland ass stock love interest who worked at a teen shelter now knows how to precure heavy weaponry (and grenades!) off the street and is attempting to take down a criminal organization run by literal (and figurative) monsters. And he fails at like every single turn too. It's phenomenal.
