Our adventure through Nepal and India brought us from remote areas where no power supply was available and where the next gravel road was a few days away by foot, to huge cities like Delhi with a population of nearly 19 million people, from the highest point at 4779 meters (Kyanjin Ri Peak) to the lowest at 76 m in Varanasi and from extreme temperatures of -15 °C in the Himalayas to 48 °C in Rajasthan in India. We had to be ready for it with all our equipment, sleeping bag and clothes in one backpack each.

Aside from a pre-occupation with reproduction, food gathering and vanity, man is fixated with an insatiable urge to shop which  knows no bounds.
