Ive been having some thoughts about Alastor/Mimzy and i wonder if im the only one
Is it me, or is there a certain vibe between Mimzy and Al? Isnt there something weirdly pointed about the way Mimzy and calls Alastor a heartless son-of-a-bitch
What im saying is, i think Al might have two toxic situationships going with people who have the hots for him. And both of them have spent decades not handling his rejection of them well
i actually really love this interpretation of their relationship, mostly because it's fun to imagine that the performative affection alastor gives her when she arrives (bc imo he's still in showboating mode for lucifer and isn't greeting her with complete sincerity) is mutual, that mimzy's teasing carries an undercurrent of resentment or bitterness, that they've been playing a game of chicken that alastor loses when he kicks her out of the hotel. mimzy lowkey punishing alastor for harshly rejecting her decades ago by calling him to rescue her from whatever fucked up situation she's got herself into this time, on purpose to inconvenience him or put him in danger VS alastor over-inflecting affection, putting on airs of warmth and friendliness that she knows are fake, feigning a deep platonic love for her that isn't real and only twists the knife in her wound. good shit
