#rabbit headcanons

Well – he is old enough to have been born into it. Maybe that's the angle. Do you guys think that would fit the Christmas special? Cause I kinda see it. Not him as a wiccan, but an atheist who grew up in Wicca?

Cause I didn't get the vibe from the Christmas special that was raised in Catholicism or any Christianity (beyond culturally). That's fair if other people interpret it that way, cause I'm basing all this on vibes instead of evidence. But what I've been imagining since watching the Christmas special, my headcanon's been that Tommy wasn't raised in any particular religion. Considering episode 5, he just mentions having the one parent, and my idea of his dad is that he probably didn't talk much to Tommy at all about anything. I picture his independence and loneliness starting really young unfortunately. And then maybe later Tommy briefly looked into the other options as he was exposed to them (still praying for a Muslim Natalie), and decided he wasn't compelled to any of them and cemented his atheism.

This interpretation is definitely partially from my experiences and biases, even tho I don't practice Wicca anymore I'm somehow more religious (multi faith @aroace-omnist). So I could totally be missing something about the Christmas special, and I'm curious what other people think of my headcanons, and their own ideas, please talk to me about them.

💛- How did they discover age regression?

Andrew was the first to discover it through Bee. She suggested it later into Andrew's college years as a way to work through his childhood trauma. At the time I believe Andrew would not have felt comfortable regressing especially since he didn't have anyone he knew to regress with or around that he trusted like that. Next would be Neil, who either found out through Andrew or the internet for the same reason as Andrew and took to it a lot faster. The first time he regressed would be with Andrew and he would have to take it super slow, but as he got comfortable in the headspace his regression became involuntary so he switched to having multiple caregivers including Andrew, Matt, and even Wymack! Kevin would be the last even of the Foxes because he isn't the type to accept help and he would definitely assume age regression was something else and not want to be involved. He would probably become interested after seeing Andrew regress with Neil and sort of come to terms with it being a safe thing and start wanting that for himself. He would regress alone probably just to see if he liked it and then realize quickly he liked having playmates.

📈- Age range?

For Neil, usually from infancy to about 10. Sometimes he feels a little bigger but he doesn't enjoy regressing to a middlespace because it just reminds him of being on the run.

For Andrew, 4-8. He never gets very old and often is a young but independent little.

For Kevin, 6-12. When he's with Jean and Jeremy sometimes he feels especially young, sometimes baby aged, but with his playmates he's usually 8 or 9 or 10-12 with Andrew and Neil, because those are his baby brothers

🎭- Is their regression voluntary or involuntary?

For Neil, it started voluntary and quickly became involuntary. For Andrew, voluntary, with a few rare instances of involuntary regression where he immediately asks to go to either Neil or Bee. Kevin regresses voluntarily! 🃏- Random headcanon about their regression!

Neil loves stuffed animals. He loves playing with them, holding them, cuddling with them, and chewing on their ears instead of his paci.

Andrew likes watching Animal Planet. When something scary happens Neil covers his eyes.

- Although Dusty tried his hardest to lure you in, it was Rabbit who caught your eye after joining Jo’s team. He was older than you, handsome, smart, and completely, wonderfully single. 

- It really doesn’t look like it but Rabbit is forty years old, so when you began your attempts at flirting he either didn’t realize what you were doing or didn’t take you seriously. A gorgeous young girl actually being interested in “an old fart like him”? Yeah right. But he decides to play along every now and again anyway.

- His obliviousness to your actual feelings is slightly infuriating but you aren’t about to give up when you’re so close to getting what you want. You just need to be a little more obvious, right?  

- So there you were, trying to proposition your crew member so that he would finally realize that you were being serious whenever you hit on him. 

- Let’s just say walking out of a hotel bathroom in only a towel worked to finally convince him of the true nature behind your flirting... or at least short circuited his brain enough to momentarily forget all his other thoughts. 

“How about we go get some coffee together tomorrow?” 

Gulps “Yeah, tha-that would be great.”

- Your first date was at a nice cafe where you could talk in peace. He was slightly embarrassed over the fact that it took him so long to realize your feelings for him which you found adorable. Everyone teased the two of you when you arrived back at camp

- The two of you shared your first kiss a few days later after you happened across him sitting on his own and watching the stars. You sat next to him, letting him point out some constellations to you before he went quiet, his eyes locked on your face. 

- You asked him what was wrong and he shook his head with a shy smile. After a bit of prodding he finally admitted that he was just thinking about how beautiful you were. You smiled at him, calling him handsome and giggling as he teasingly replied “oh yeah?”. It wasn’t long before you found yourselves leaning in and sharing a long, sweet kiss. 

- Your life may have been a bit crazy but at least you found someone equally crazy to share it with. 

- Tasteful pda: a hand on your back or arm around your shoulder, quick kiss here, tucking of hair behind the ear there, etc. 

- His favorite pet name for you is “Honey”. 

- Teasingly calling him “Bunny”. 

- Waking up to soft kisses and the smell of breakfast early in the morning. 

- He’s always making sure you have whatever you need. 

- Finally someone he can trust with his maps. 

- Be prepared to travel a lot because you don’t stay put for long in this line of work. 

- His choice of work may be dangerous and exciting but don’t be mistaken, his favorite activities are the same as a 70 year old mans: reading, puzzles, board games, model building, bird watching, etc. 

- He firmly believes that spending a quiet night in with you is better than going anywhere else. 

- He loves when you run your fingers through and fix his hair. 

- Making little pit stops together when you’re on the road. 

- Talking about random, specific scenarios and what you’d do in them whenever you get bored. 

- He has a bit of a short attention span so sometimes you’ll have to remind him of what he was talking about once he gets distracted by something else.

- Having him read to you. The man has a nice voice. 

- Cheek, forehead and head kisses. Just lots of kisses, okay?

- Having dates at random, unique places you come across while travelling. 

- He likes being able to give you advice whenever you need. Remember, he’s a wise man; self diagnosed. 

- Happily listening to his little explanations on how things work or what things mean. 

-  He loves asking questions and learning new things about you. He’s got a little compartment in his brain filled with stories of yours. 

- He always jokes about how old he is, which obviously really isn’t that old. 

- Having your quiet moments interrupted by the others, specifically Dusty. 

- The others tease you a lot, mainly the younger boys although Jo gets in a few jokes every now and again.

- If there’s something he can compliment you on, he’s going to do it. 

- He’s the perfect gentleman, always opening doors for you, pulling out chairs and helping you up/down. 

- Slow kisses.

- Wearing his button ups in the morning and his comfy shirts to bed. He adoringly calls you a thief. 

- He’s the big spoon whenever you cuddle, mainly because he’s six foot and likes how nicely the two of you fit together. 

- Sneaking around corners together, trying to find some peace, quiet, and privacy. 

- Showering together... to conserve water,...you know?

- He’s probably the rational thinker in your relationship. What can I say, he’s just a logical boy. 

- You’ll never get lost when you’re with him, it’s quite possibly impossible. 

- The two of you have very dangerous jobs so he’s grown quite protective over you. He doesn’t like letting you out of his sight and always tries to stop you when you want to do something particularly dangerous. 

- Tight, relieved hugs after things turn out okay. 

- If something were to ever happen to you, rest assured he’s the first to come running over, trying to help and seeing if you’re okay. 

- He’s always quick to comfort and reassure you whenever things get tough. 

- The two of you don’t spend a lot of time with people outside of your crew members so he rarely has a reason to be jealous. But on those rare occasions where he does get jealous, he’ll usually stay relatively calm unless the guy really won’t let up. 

- Sitting on his lap. 

- Teasing each other constantly. 

- The man loves a homemade meal so if you’re a good cook just know you’ve won his heart. 

- There’s a 99% chance that your parents love him which is good because he loves them back. He’s always excited to drop by and visit them with you. 

- He’s very excited to introduce you to Meg as his girlfriend. 

- He can get a little snappy when he’s angry/stressed so the two of you will undoubtedly have a few short arguments during your relationship. Annoying, yes, but nothing a quick apology can’t fix. 

- Saying you love each other every day.

I think that the nature of Andrew's trauma is what makes it scary for him when he involuntarily regresses and why his mind doesn't like to slip into littlespace when he's not completely down for it, because any time it happens it's very scary so his head just sort of knows to let him do it at his own pace. If he's very upset by something I think is when he involuntarily regresses, when he can't stay big on purpose because he's too overwhelmed or upset

The first time it happens he is probably terrified and really scared but wouldn't want to let it show... but he's also just a baby, he can't control how he feels. He would be with Neil and Neil would just notice something being off and ask him if he's okay and Andrew really isn't. I think he goes nonverbal and doesn't know how to communicate which is extra frustrating so it's sort of a guessing game at first before he and Neil figure out how to communicate when Andrew is baby little involuntarily. Neil would eventually ask if he wants to see Bee which Andrew does.

He trusts Neil a lot but this is scary! And he wants his Mama (Bee) right now.

Neil either drives Andrew to Bee or calls her to come here and then goes one room over to give Andrew space

Once making sure Andrew is okay and safe, Bee probably just sits with him, does some quiet tasks like flipping through a picture book or putting together a puzzle until Andrew is not feeling as afraid. I like to think that little Andrew accepts platonic touch from Neil, Bee, and Aaron only, so he might ask for cuddles which Bee is happy to give and lets Andrew go at his own pace so he can take space if he needs to. Andrew ends up cradled in Bee's arms like a baby (he is a baby!) and gets quite sleepy, but he doesn't want to nap so Bee tells him stories to keep him up while he listens and cuddles.

It sounds silly but like. Hands red and burning with guilt. Skin peeling back, painfully revealing your true nature. An inability to touch anything without pain. These fuckin' bumps cause he's a fuckin Toad.
