Of course! Admittedly, I'm... kinda bad at remembering characters outside of Mario, Luigi, and everyone else đ . But I do got a few headcanons of the fungi! (Hehe, see what I did there? I'll... see myself out...)
Starting off... Toad lives in the Mushroom Kingdom (obvi), specifically the Mushroom Woods (uncreative name, but that's what I'm dubbing them). He lives there in a little cabin made of mushrooms alongside a lone Biddybud whom he's named... uh... Buddy. And they usually have herbal teas together â¤ď¸. He also loves the woods because he gets to name all the plants and trees. Oh. And it makes for good ambiance whenever he wants to play flute (think of him as kind of like Abigail from Stardew Valley).
As for why Toad doesn't live in Toad Town... it's too noisy for him. Plus, he likes the wildlife (Buddy being a prime example). He usually goes there to visit his other friends (of the Toad variety), or just to share some drawings with Peach (who is VERY receptive to it).
Speaking of which, Toad is also an artist. He LOVES drawing and sketching out the Mushroom Woods around him, as well as just making art out of sticks. His favorite thing to do is make little stick dolls out of sticks and shreds of cloth. He says he does this so he can give his friends hugs from far away.
Toad is also VERY much prepared for any type of situation (I mean... just look at his backpack). He's got anything you could imagine stashed away: medicines, maps, herbs, sticks, food, you name it. He's also got the entire layout of the Mushroom Peninsula mapped out due to his many travels and self-imposed adventures... which is why he's the one Peach usually calls for advice on how to reach certain areas quicker should Bowser be a problem.
Toad is agender, and he goes by he/him. He's basically the embodiment of "I have no gender, only vibes." Adding onto him being ace and aro... he's a triple-A battery. So...
Toad has SpongeBob levels of enthusiasm. Seemingly nothing can get him down, it makes everyone else wonder if he just injects GALLONS of dopamine into... whatever the Toad equivalent of veins is. Seriously, if you need a wing-mate or just someone to hype you up, he's the one.
His taste in music is not what you'd expect... okay, it KIND of is. But in actuality, he's a HUGE heavy metal fan. Just looking at this image, I can't help imagining him driving this and headbanging to this. (Yes. Even the swear words. He doesn't even say them because he likes swearing; he just thinks it's funny).
Speaking of cars... Toad has a fascination with them! If his big ass kart was any indication, he loves his karts big, loud, and badass. Maybe it's because he's a small dude, maybe it's just in his nature, but if he ever sees ANYTHING with wheels, his first instinct is to drive it.
Toad also has quite a temper on him. Granted, he's usually good about keeping it together, but he becomes downright vicious if he reaches his breaking point. He may not be all that threatening in terms of combat (I mean... the dude could get easily punted across a football field, for crying out loud), but you do NOT want him whipping out that pan.
Toad is AuDHD. I... don't think I really need to explain this one, lol.
Toad considers Mario to be his best friend due to... well, the entire Mario movie, basically. He's always running over to Mario's place to ask if he wants to watch movies or play video games (even though he's bad at them, lol). Admittedly, Mario was annoyed by this in the beginning, but the little guy's kinda grown on him. Plus, he's a pretty good source of comfort when his own ADHD becomes too overwhelming. He doesn't enjoy it whenever Toad keeps urging him to kiss Peach, though đ (he's... a huge Mareach shipper).
With Luigi, he's a HUGE fanboy (not as much as with Mario, but still). He thinks the fact that Luigi is not only Mario's brother, but his TWIN brother, is the coolest thing ever! But he also recognizes that Luigi is a person outside of just that, so he makes sure to spend time with him... especially because he loves growing flowers and meeting cute animals! There's been many times where Toad secretly takes Luigi aside just to show him a rare flower or a furry friend... much to Luigi's utter delight, but it makes Mario freak out when he just snatches him outta nowhere đ
As for the princesses, Toad is pretty close with both of them. He still likes his role as Peach's unofficial guard, which she finds adorable, and he is bound and determined to ensure that she gets what she needs. With Daisy... oh lord. Anything to do with either of them is going to be LOUD and EXPLOSIVE. And if Mario is involved in this whatsoever... it's over. No one's sanity is safe anymore.

[Surprisingly it was most likely Jessica, his future girlfriend. Chris got into a lot of fights from about the age of 10 right up until he joined the military. At around the age of 12, some kid said something about his mom that Chris didnât appreciate and the two of them fought, although in the end it was Chris leaving the fight with a bloody nose. Jess, the quiet, teacherâs pet of the class who never said much to anybody was the first to come over and offer him a wad of Kleenex for his nose. She stayed long enough to tell him that what the boy had said hadnât been right before leaving just as suddenly as sheâd arrived. From then on, Chris had a real soft spot for Jess and the pair became unlikely friends, although it was a good five years until finally admitting her own feelings for Chris.]Â

[His mom was Christian and religion was never really something Chris questioned until she died. Shortly after, he became very angry and anti religion, frustrated by the unfairness of having her be taken from him. He also struggled with religion in that it didnât accept the way he lives his life and over time the distance between Chris and any religious beliefs only grew. Now more settled, Chris still isnât exactly a believer. He doesnât follow a religion personally, but he doesnât think any less of those that do. He believes in a higher power of sorts, but dwell too much on what that might mean.]
I could totally see Ultimate Toad falling in love and this song just playing in the background of his head every single moment he sees her, getting all withdrawn and nervous while shooting glares or attempting to show off...

Simply because Ultimate *hasn't* shown romantic interest in anyone, unlike the other toads. It'd be very very out of character for him to do so, so they'd have to be something he'd never experienced before.
(The exception being Movie-verse, but this song totally doesn't fit him for it in my brain as he's pretty loud, proud, and 'THIS IS MY THING DONT YOU TOUCH MY THING' with touches of 'OH GOD WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS THING ITS ON ME GET IT OFF ME ITS A TRAP ILL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU KILL ME I SWEAR'.)
I can never quite decide if- when flirted with- if Ultimate would be more shell shocked that someone he liked liked him (when NOT being an oblivious nerd), sort of a 'spit take' deal, before recovering and being just a royal smoothie bomb. However, if he *doesn't* like them or realize his feelings for them or that they really do like him, he'd be corny as all get out and flirting up a storm.Â
I could see him having a bromance with someone for months or years and then out of nowhere it smacks him in the face, like.... 'Oh no....they're hot.....'
Part of me thinks he's got that John Hancock vibe from Fallout 4- smooth as hell but fully aware of his appearance and has no expectation of *real* love or romance.
On a side note, pretty sure WATXM toad would yarf up his green gunk with nerves. Oh yes- so hot. Ladies- he's single ;D
