Yes Julius! I’ll try to keep serious and avoid plaguing this with Jugdral nonsense.

1:sexuality headcanon: the scary thing is Julius discovered – reached hispuberty – his sexuality while being possessed by Loptyr. Sexuality = breed =new Loptyr host so he has this nice Tordo woman around and that’s it. Julius isromantic, he buys tiaras for his fiancée and shows her flowers! Fine, it waspretty possessive and not really healthy – but still he is very attached toIshtar, so I guess he loves her.

2: otp: thegame gives us Julius/Ishtar and I see no reason to think about anything else,especially on Julius’ side.

3: brotp: Juliushas a lot of brothers, and one useless sister. Alas, he doesn’t get along withany, even if Saias is sort of tolerated. Pre-Loptyr Julius would really getalong with his sister, and sometimes annoy that priest in Velthomer’s court,but post-Loptyr Julius… gets along best with Manfroy.

4: notp: Strangelyenough I’ve seen some Seliph/Julius (was it a fic? It must have been) and…nope. Ignoring the incest, taking into account all the consideration Julius hasfor Seliph (that is none) and given his craziness, I can’t really know wherethis comes from. And hm, Seliph launches a war to get rid of him and his dad,that’s not some quality you’d found in a potential lover.

5: firstheadcanon that pops into my head: Julius agrees to the child hunts, Loptyr isjust a whisper. Julius is in control and doesn’t see what’s wrong, sometimes heforgets things but that’s all. Only when Arvis dies he realizes that he hasbecome the whisper. But he doesn’t care anymore.

6: favoriteline from this character: Wow. That’s hard. I guess the lines where he wants tooffer Ishtar a lot of jewelries for the next party. 

We see how he actuallycares about her, buying stuff, but then it’s also for him because he wants to “showher beautifully dressed” or something like that, like a trophy. This Julius isn’tfully Loptyr – we can see how selfish he is and how, despite his love for her,Ishtar is just a tool. But then, I remember the Deedee scene at the end ofchapter 5 and Arvis treats her far worse. We can see the good side, he wants tobuy her things thinking she’ll be happy, and the bad one, hello trophy how areyou today? At least she isn’t treated as a garden ornament which you can bringand drag out whenever you want.

7: one wayin which I relate to this character: ouch. My Brother sometimes gives memedicaments when I’m ill?

8: thingthat gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: Ah. So manythings with Julius, if we consider he is still Julius before Chapter 11.

Why is heallowing the child hunts, why reeducate citizens? I thought maybe he was mad atthe peasants for revolting against Arvis, but then, why are they even riotingin the first place? Plus he treats his Father… poorly. Is there no filial lovebetween them? Julius has no affections for the man, nothing left? Has he reallykilled his sister and mom (maybe Loptyr took over this time)? Most things canbe explained because he is 15 – like being very jealous – but supporting what’sgoing on in the Empire… I think Julius’ notions of what is Good and what is Badare skewed. By Manfroy, Loptyr, I don’t know. Still, there are craptons of badthings about him.
