C!Sam never wanting to hurt C!Tommy again does something to me. Imagine Sam seeing Tommys brutality massacred body held by Dream who's reciting things no true man could understand. The child, the one he was supposed to protect by locking Dream up is gone, his soul left to rest in Limbo forever. He didn't mean for this to happen, no matter how annoying Tommy was, Tom trust HIM, and he failed him. Desperately failed him. There was no coming back from this, ever. He's lost his valentine, his friends and the kid, all because of Dream. If Dreams on the brink of insanity then Sam's a goner. They're all 3 somehow stuck with each other. Like brain (Dream), braun (Sam) and beauty (Tom).

That one scene where Ponk was yelling at Sam and hits the wall to where Tommy has boarded himself up and he asks what it is. Sam weakly responding how Tommy has isolated himself so he'd be safe and Ponk getting angrier asking WHY he has to do that. Sam trying to explain what he did wasn't WRONG but maybe he's starting to doubt it was RIGHT.

sure, it wasn't the anarchist thing to do. but techno is still a person, his beliefs and ideals shape who he is, yes, but they aren't all he is.

techno has always been someone driven by vengeance for those he cares about. 'those that hurt my friends... i shall repay that injustice a thousand times over.'

and sam hurt his friends! sam murdered one of this closest friends in cold blood and kidnapped his child! sam tortured one of his other friends, a fact he brings up! sam also locked techno himself in the prison unjustly and then allowed c!quackity in with intentions of harming techno.

techno taking vengeance for ranboo, for michael_beloved, for dream, and for himself makes perfect sense. it was cruel, sure, but he was merely repaying the cruelty and injustice sam inflicted.

oh absolutely. He was leading the search and did not rest for days until they were all tracked down and in front of him.

That actually fucked him up badly. He very much felt the need to punish the Eggpire, a lot more so than he would've had his plan worked, but the fact was that he literally couldn't. Hannah was one of two staff members at the bank. Bad and Ant were the only other prison guards. Ponk nearly killed Sam during his attempted capture and resisted all forms of contact. He couldn't do anything to any of them, and that was deeply upsetting to him. In his subconscious, he was guilty for the events of the banquet because his traps failed. He would be cleared of his guilt if he could pass that guilt onto the Eggpire and then 'correct' that mistake, but he can't.
