You can enjoy the deep flavors of Marsala wine with earthy mushrooms and sweet caramelized onions on a crust made of naan bread. You can make this pizza quickly and it's a great meal.
Ingredients: 2 pieces of naan bread. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 cup sliced mushrooms. 1 cup caramelized onions. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup Marsala wine. 2 cloves garlic, minced. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender and browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Saut for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the Marsala wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until it reduces slightly. Place the naan bread on a baking sheet. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over each piece of naan. Top the caramelized onions with the sauted mushrooms and shredded mozzarella cheese. Drizzle the Marsala wine and garlic mixture over the pizzas. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the naan are golden brown. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
