with big-shot era queenspam in general i think there's a sense from both sides of "i'm a big shot now so obviously i ought to be with the most influential woman in the cyber world"/"i'm the most influential woman in the cyber world so obviously i ought to snatch up the newest big shot on the block" but that superficiality doesn't make the two of them any less earnest about it if that makes sense? they're such an obnoxious banter-y flirtatious fling and it drives absolutely everyone around them up a wall.
