For Alex itās cheese that he cravesĀ
And lactose he willingly braves
Thought it makes him quite sickĀ
A little pill does the trick
from his flatulence the whole house it saves.
āMy crispsā Danny one day cried
by Leicester lockdown he was terrified
his mini meltdown caused the whole house to frown
Q yelled quick bond make him something fried.
For Bond there's not much that he misses
even alcohol he now dismisses
Heās gone through his purge for sex he hasn't the urgeĀ
no matter how Danny plies him with kisses.
Qās not fussy about food you seeĀ
he wolf down most things with glee
since lockdown began he tucks into a whole cans of spam
washed down with a pot of beef tea.

Name: lapsang-and-earlgrey
Minion ID: QB-P3
Division: Researcher, Picker, frustrated(crap) writer,Ā commenter,
Personal goal for fest: Post my first ficlet, try to host a watch party, write loads of headcannons, to learn to write a decent fic-rec /review
Time zone: Ā BST (GMT+1)
This is my first 00Q fest proper I was a bit of a lurker this year. Erm, as far as ships goes I'm a bit of a fandom bike I'll ship/read any grouping as long as the story grabs me.
Iām also a busy body who has a mind full of useless information and Iām trying to use it for good and not to become a fanfic black hat. I can Brit Pick, London Pick, U/Non-U Pick and Sartorial Pick. So If you want help trying figuring out Ā where Q buys his underwear; Ā bond buys his whiskey; or help with making M sound like heās not from a council estate . I'm here for you,
There once was a Villain named Souff, of my villainy sure she'd found truth, but cry as she might it didn't ring right so Pam proved that she wasn't shark-proof
Its a sad day when Qās precious scrabble mug breaks. He finds it smashed on the floor one morning with no sign of who or what might have knocked it over.Ā Heās almost inconsolable āI had it in a safe place I donāt understand how this could have happenedā. When Bond offers to find a replacement Q wailsĀ āThey donāt make them anymoreāĀ
A few days later Bond presents him with these four new mugs the last one makes Q laugh its not his scrabble mug but now he has a new mug and a new memory.
The Great Tea Experiment - Q in the kitchen part 3
Bond returned home to find his kitchen looked more like a lab there was equipment every where he was used to coming home and finding usually organised kitchen a bit of a mess but this was beyond ridiculous. There was a canister of gas hooked up with hoses to a small barrel and a beer tap aĀ
James winces at that one his last mission had been particularly heavy on the lost or broken equipment and although their relationship had doneĀ little to improve his equipment return rate they had at least reach an en tant about itĀ maybe it was time for a peace offering something to soothe those caffeine withdrawals
James Bondās Earl Grey Tea Lemonade
3 tbs of Earl Grey or six tea bags
the zest of 3 unwaxed LemonsĀ
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
1 cup of lemon juice
Put tea (cut open your tea bags if you are using them) Water, Lemon zest and sugar in a pan and bring it to the boil simmer for 3-5 minutes. Set aside for 20-30 minutes to steep depending on how strong you like your tea flavour.
meanwhile juice enough lemons to give you 1 cup of juiceĀ ĀÆ
Once the syrup has steeped strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
Stir in the lemon juice. If you donāt plan on serving the lemonade that day bring return the mixture to the pan and bring back to the boil before transferring it a bottle for refrigeration it should keep for a week.
To serve mix the syrup with 2-3 parts water to one part syrup.
Tip this also makes lovely refreshing ice lollies simply reduce the added water 1 one cup.

Alexās Grown up No Churn Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream
Alex loves ice cream and Danny wants him to have all the things he never had growing up. Alex was never allowed sweets and ice cream (Francis has so much to answer for) and now he has an incredible sweet tooth.Ā
Danny made this for Alexās Birthday dinner.Ā It looks particularly nice presented unmolded from a pudding basin, terrine or loaf pan topped more with crushed meringue and pieces of freeze dried raspberries.Ā
You can also make this recipe with any other flavour of curd, lemon, passion fruit or even rhubarb are also yummy and if your feeling lazy you can just use shop bought curd.
Raspberry Curd:
350g/12 oz Raspberries (frozen actually works better for this recipe)
1 tbs of water
Juice of half a lemon
3 eggsĀ
100g/3.5oz/7tbs unsalted Butter
1/2 teaspoon of cornflour/cornstarch (this is optional but it helps with the texture)
or a 340g/12oz jar of Raspberry Curd if you can find it.
Ice Cream base:
300ml/1/2 pint of Double / Heavy Cream
300ml/1/2 pint of Greek Yogurt (you can use fat free or 5%)
100g/3.5oz Crushed MeringueĀ
Method:
To make the raspberry curd
Pour the raspberries into a pan with the juice ofĀ half a lemon and a tablespoon of water. Cook on a medium heat until the raspberriesĀ break down. Sieve out the seeds and return the juice to a clean pan.Ā
Beat the eggs and sugar together and create a slurry of cornflour/cornstarch with a few spoonfuls of raspberry juice. Cut the butter small cubes and add it everything to the pan.
Whisk the curd over a low heat stirring constantly until the butter has completely melted and the curd becomes thick and gloopy. Allow to cool and store in the fridge in a container sterilised with boiling water. leave overnight
For the ice cream:
Whip the cream until ribbons that hold there shape form (do not over whip it) fold in the the yoghurt and the crushed meringue.Ā
You will need about 3/4 of the raspberry curd or 1 jar of shop bought curd. Fold in about half the curd in so its almost completely incorporated.
If you a planning to unmold your desert line your chosen container with cling flim/saran wrap.Ā Pour the mixture into your freezer proof container, stopping every now and then to dot in spoonfuls of curd; using a spatula or knife to drag it through creating the ripples.Ā
Freeze for at least six hours.
You will be left with quite a bit of extra curd you can freeze this in ice cube sized portions to have on toast or scones or my favourite mixed into plain yoghurt.
