Digimon Beatbreak Episode 23 Review - Power Is Everything
This is the penultimate episode of the Tactics arc and it hits hard. There’s a lot of lore regarding Kano Island and Klay as well as emotional gut punches. When Megumi Han said that Glowing Dawn meets a terrible fate in this episode, this was what she meant and she was right. I can’t believe I have to wait a week to see this resolved. I’m not prepared…
The first Mega in this series at just 23eps in. Also, always heard a lot of theories about a Biomerge-styled evolution for this series (better connection to the e-Pulse), and with Klay getting taken inside Pyramidimon, I'd say it's feeling more likely.
The Liberator Digimon would cover so many bases in an RPG
Zephagamon, Medusamon, and HeavyMetaldramon would be good all-rounders. They would all be hybrid units with aptitude for physical and magic attacks. Zephagamon leans more towards speed and physical attacks. HeavyMetaldramon leans magical with higher durability. Medusamon does a little bit of everything from physical, magic, poison, and even some healing
Cendrillmon, Dinomon, and Invisimon would be pure physical attackers. Cendrillmon's the speedy glass cannon, pun intended. Dinomon is the slow, bulky heavy hitter. Invisimon is strong, durable, and evasive, but crumbles against magic
Necromon, Queenbeemon, and Skadi are the magical members. Necromon serves as the magic nuke with the highest raw magic output. Queenbeemon brings the buffs along with rapid artillery attacks. Skadimon does area control with AOE attacks
Pyramidimon and Ryugumon serve as the group's tanks and support. Pyramidimon builds up barriers and walls to hold off physical attacks. Ryugumon soaks up magic damage while providing most of the healing. Ryugumon's lore doesn't mention any aptitude for healing, but out of the cast, she's the one most suited to be the team's primary healer
It really is a shame that they won't be in Time Stranger at launch
First it was Marinebullmon
Then Sunirzamon and Pyramidimon, in fact nearly his whole line over two eps
And next week we have Elizamon... How many Liberator Digimon do you want to throw into Beatbreak? Why is there so many Liberator nods in Beatbreak? I don't expect Pteromon (its line is crazy, never mind MedievalGallantmon) but I don't doubt they'll be more, Nyabootmon seems like an obvious choice when they get to Mega, he was pretty popular on his debut but the whole line was full of new digimon to showcase. At the moment, they seem to be pulling them more from the comic side than the story, so that only really leaves a Ghost and Puppet addition and Ghost doesn't get any new Mon till Mega level.
